Looks like this year they not releasing the 2023 form early. Still not available now.

Last year I tried to ask a hospital to issue the receipt as above, but they refused, said that payer name must be same as patient name. Oh well.

Even for a competition? See, this is why I am sort of not sure whether it is taxable or not. But maybe yes taxable, because of this:

2024 explanatory notes is up

Sorry for question but i searched the forum and got some conflicting answers.

My dad has cancer and undergoing treatment with govt hospitals, the treatment price was minimal. But 2024 he had undergone immunotheraphy in which the medicine has to be bought from a 3rd party medical supplier. Those cost a substantial amount. Are those tax deductible under the 8k amount?
