I took the OBU degree.. It definitely IS not neccesary.. But, if you're not too confident of passing your core papers, maybe u should get it as a backup.. So u can start working right after core...

Also, if i'm not mistakened, sooner or later, they're gonna make OBU compulsary? or something...
