erm... i got a question for those current ACCA/CIMA students... i'm in 2nd year which is the last semester for the Diploma in Accountancy (DIA)(in SEGI A.K.A Systematic)... i just wondering after i finish my DIA... can i join the part 2 ACCA in sunway college??? well this questing is mostly for those sunway's student XD... and i heard that after graduate in sunway college they will offer a place in BIG4... can some1 conform this .... THX

After graduate from Sunway Collage, will get offer a place i Big 4??? Never heard of this before...
But what's so special about Sunway Collage??? then Malaysia Big 4 all are full with Sunway ex-students lor...
Its cant be... I do believe if only those TOP students will be selected because Big 4 are only choose the QUALITY
I was in Big4.... so i dont think its true unless they are TOP students with QUALITY.

Malaysian who did your ACCA at Singapore? I been thinking of whether to study there too. Many queries arised but hardly to get to know who are they to do their ACCA tho.

Why not??? As long you have money
You can choose ICPAS to study. Once you graduate & get a job there, earning S'pore Dollar much better than Ringgit
S'pore goverment will offer you a PR after 1 or 2 years work.

I only know my lecturer Mr Goh did his ACCA in singapore.. ><

For what I know, ICPAS(Singapore) is like MIA(Malaysia). You are a qualified accountant if you become the member of ICPAS/MIA. It is not a name for a school/institute who provide ACCA courses.

So you complete all your ACCA (from Part 1-Part 3) at Singapore? Or certain papers you did at Malaysia?

Does it make any differences study ACCA in Malaysia and in Singapore (other than the reason of good environment)? Since ACCA is recognized worldwide, after graduate from Malaysia, the student can also work in Singapore, earn S'pore dollars. Does it make any differences? I am interesting to know the facts

In fact, I like the study environment of Singapore alot, this is the crucial reason that attract me planning to study there.

Looking forward of the comments from those who have hands-on experinces like Fat^Cat

Hi guys. I'm new in this ACCA and CAT. I've read all ur comments about these subject. So now, I just wondering, what do u do after u finis ur ACCA? can u direct can get a job with the certificate?

After ACCA, depend on u lah, ask urself after acca u do wat... can continue master, take cpa, take ICSA, take MBA but mostly go to work lohhhhh

get a job, why not? accounting so many firm want to hire. Even economic recession, accountant can survive compare to other job. This is what i read from student accountant.

then the important thing.. How much is the salary about? Just give me a roughly estimate...

i asking few friends edi but they all say have to take lcci or cat 1st then only can go 4 ACCA .
Recently i heard my cousin say her friends can streataway go 4 ACCA after spm .......

I can just say your cous's friends is one big moron.. There is no such thing as proceeding to ACCA without any foundation/pre-U program..

im still an ACCA student, jus completed my advanced diploma in TARC.

I still have 5 more papers on hand for the external exam.. and im now working as an account assistant ..

would like to seek advise from all the working grads,
Should I carry on wit my current job or should I seek a job in any audit firms?

And whats important to me is the relevant 3 yrs working experiences in order to get my ACCA and MIA member status . .
Which im not really sure about the rules and conditions to be fulfill..

After graduate work for MNC like Japan company. Then you get chances like me friend to take the world first commercialise flight of A380 to JAPAN. Some more it is like the London or Hong Kong double decker bus.

Dependz what you working as.. A normal one grad from ACCA who goes in big4 will get about RM2.6k..


The 3years experience is not that hard to be fulfilled, even as account assistant.
