Depend on which BIOS.
390 PCS+ BIOS gave me lowest temperature and lowest performance, Tri-X 390x gave me slightly better performance(2-3 fps) and 4c lower temperature.
MSI 390x gave me best performance, 12.5k GPU score in 3DMark at 1030/1250, 150x in Heaven 4.0 and 2c lower temp.
The XFX BIOS won't work, i can't install any driver and GPU-Z only show blanks.

None of these BIOSes overclock well for me which is expected.
No idea.. maybe these 390/390x BIOS have better load adjustment.

After upgrading to Win 10 TP and Catalyst 15.7 I can OC my A10 7850K iGPU to 1028MHz stable, even after extensive gaming period. Previously it couldn't exceed 100MHz or else the system would crash in Windows. Not sure what sorcery is this.

Fury reviews out. 5-8% slower than Fury X, sounds like 290 & 290X all over again.
GTX980 is in an awkward price bracket now. Second hand sellers still asking for RM2k for their GTX980, wow

And Fury X alone the performance was in consistent, fluctuating from lower than 980 to higher than 980 Ti.

Fury X at RM 2899 alone was difficult to recommend, let alone Fury.

Idealtech announced Sapphire R9 Fury Tri-X will cost you RM2,499. Not sure if GST inc. or not. Stock arrive in a couple of weeks and pretty limited availability.

Man i rather get Fury X for RM2.8k.

i test mine.. no improvement on game.. or a bit lower min Fps..  but i able to overclock Gpu core 1,130Mhz now lolx

I don't know, but I think I'll defer my GPU purchase for now - the prices of GPUs right now are not looking good....

RM exchange rate drop too much, plus all electronics good is now subject to GST.

In year 2013, the exchange rate is RM2.9 to USD1.

Now, it is RM 3.8 to USD1. Then need to pay GST 6% on top of it.

Do you need moar GPU power btw?
Maybe that die cast extension help reduce the sound noise.

No experience on those games yet, but Gran Turismo 5&6 I had played had dam real engine noise, well it's real because they recorded it lol.
Same noise when I compared the with the same car in real life, a mitsu evo 7 (colleague's car) and AE86 (same engine with my second car)

If banyak savings and gaji not bad of course upgrade lor. Can get benefit faster and cool GPU, also 2 years warranty. Old GPU can be sold too.

i only have asus r9 280x..i have so many bad lucks with it..screen flickering n small artifacts on some AAA games..need to downclock only then no more of those problems..but so unsatisfying have to downclock.. 

not upgrading anytime soon after looking at the current prices of both Nvidia and AMD GPU..
