Is it you went to signature outlet and previously was normal outlet ? There has prices slight different between both outlets

Anyone recently redeem birthday cake ??

All the while I redeemed birthday cake every month by created each month of SB card, it valid from your first transaction until the next month.

Example: registered new card for birthday month of March 2016, transaction on 20 March, so the complimentary birthday cake will be valid from 20 March - 20 April and it was successfully, have redeemed since last year

However, by doing this matter on April 2016 too, transaction on 22 April, suppose valid until 22 May, was told that the complimentary birthday cake is only valid on the month itself, no longer valid one month by first transaction

i prefer that way. easier to track and utilize ur birthday cake.

no need to remember transaction date.

But you can check from your apps.

I more prefer the first one, I can use the card whenever I want within the month and claim free cake next month

If this is the case, need to register early and use it then

there's no difference with the 2nd method for me, since i have cards for each month.

Is this real?

I'm going to redeem for May with expiry 9th June.
But I did encounter few years back where the cake reward disappeared after past the bday month. I had to call CS to reinstate the reward.

Should be issued with the cake reward for my April SB Card I think

Will try on the following months and see

Nope. All legit. I just help to keep track and redeem for them.

I thought this has been the way for quite some time - only valid within the calendar month, not a month from birth date.


Reward is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance except Birthday Reward which is to be redeemed within your birthday month.

Logically yes, but since July last year, all I get will be based on the date of first transaction, within one month period to be redeem, but not exactly within the birthday month.
