QUOTE(pengster @ Oct 16 2006, 10:07 PM) the loose slider is quite a common problem in n80s afaik....n da top row keys are pretty hard to press unless u have long fingernails/fingers U will use to it after few days using it... At 1st u will keep pressing the wrong button which is the CLOSE button. But after few days u will use to it...QUOTE(-vip3rleon9- @ Oct 16 2006, 10:40 PM) hm.. they have them there? how much did ya get it for? i'm going there in Nov and was thinking of getting one there if it's cheaper.. Wont slide up alot la.... Jz a bit oni, about 0.2 - 0.3 cm only... But when u are woking, it will slide out about 1 cm... hehe I donno how much my realtive got it... haha... He told me 800 USD +- . But kenot b ma. Malaysia Zitron set oni selling RM2400+ -. I guess he is mistaken the price of N80 and his Palm phone la...haha... This N80 dont have cingular word. My old motorola got cingular... haha... got Cingular word's and branding on it ah? omg.. that is such a drawback weii.. suddenly it just slides up in your pocket.. |

TO users of N80, do u guys notice that the lower part keypad light is not functioning well??? I mean the "numbers" part. For normal phone, whenever u press a button, all of the buttons light will on right? Mine is weird... the numbers sometimes will on and sometimes cant... Oni upper part always on whenever i press a button... Is that normal???

QUOTE(Survivor @ Oct 18 2006, 07:38 AM) I think it is completely normal. N80 has light sensor build in, and the phone AI is trying to adjust the lighting as according to your environment. If you are in a bright place, the keypad lights might be turn off to save the battery usage...and when the environment become darker, the keypad light will turn on....nothing much to worry about R u sure??? Ok, i try to turn off the power saving mode and see how.... Ur N80 also like tat??? |

QUOTE(xtracooljustin @ Oct 19 2006, 01:38 PM) just go to services>options>settings>access point>always ask. Ya....jz try it out covering the secondary camera.... It really lights up the keypad... COOLL>....by doing this, evytime u wan to connect to a particular website, the phone will search for available access points, either 3G, GPRS etc. from then on there'll b an option "search for WLAN". click that to c a list or WLAN around ur area. simple. and yes, the N80 comes wif light sensor. if im not mistaken its at ur secondary camera. try covering it in bright daylight n ur keypads will light up. leave it uncovered n ur keypads wont light up. nice technology |
