My slide starts to loose adi.....Especially when it is close, when u gently push abit, it will move.... Altough about 2-3 weeks oni..

U try to ask other user opinion 1st.... Coz, mine is from US and hand carry back to Malaysia..... Mayb others dont have tat prob...

the loose slider is quite a common problem in n80s afaik....n da top row keys are pretty hard to press unless u have long fingernails/fingers

As far as i know and experienced, the latest firmware works like a charm, very smooth, fast respond (well, depends on personal defination on "lags" ) and so far never crash on me...  I would say the N80 is definately an excellent phone 

i seriously doubt that da n80's OS can be as laggy as motorola's  da slider is actually quite ok lah..tried b4,its just a little loose..not much of a problem to me 

I personally feel that the N80 respond is actually quite fast. The slider is not a big problem la, a little trick then can fixed dy

Void the warranty??  I have done the trick on my phone and went to Nokia Authorized Service Center for 3 times already and no one mentioned to me the warranty is void, services still free of charge

i m having trouble installing the chinese-english dictionary on my n80, at the end of the installation, a pop up message unable to install will come up, i wonder whats up with my set?

most probably will try again download n install, first time can, but after format mem card install again cannot liao

Good for you all non "i" users  but the not enough memory is still a problem with this firmware.when using the built in web browser and surfing some sites suddenly it'll say memory full

changing the region code will not void your warranty right? 
p.s. my n80i can last 3days on normal usage 

i dun think it will void your warranty.
product code changes is something simple, not like hacking IMEI (in some country, it consider ILLEGAL).

after all, product code is not visible in anyway. except plug into service computer. So by right, there are not product code writen anyway on paper or recorded. In my opinion, it's safe la.
Upgrading firmware is 100% legal la.

hi to all that upgrade ur n80 to ie firmware, did u guys noticed that when browsing with the nokia browser, it is so fast can get out of memory error? previously on the old firmware, it takes som time b4 the error comes up, just today only i have to keep clearing the cache and restart the browser to continue surfing, nokia should have included more rams in the n80.

about the memory problem,just close it n open again then will works for the same webpage/website?
what type of website cant open totally actually?

My N80 getting lagger and lagger. Jz about 400 pics stores in my memory card. When i access it, it need some time to load it up. Even switching between songs, need about 2-3 sec for that to play...

Sigh......Oh yea. I notice that my N80 bcome like this after i have flashed into IE - HOngKOng version.

Mayb i try to flash into other regions will helps....  

Yeap... I did that from Non IE to IE. Means? Mine cant cope up to the IE version or there is something wrong with my set's hardware?

Gosh....then thats mean doesnt have any solution to solve my prob?...       Mayb i try to reflash the firmware but this time i try not to recover my backup copy... Use a brand new 1 and insert all my caller id from the backup 1 in my comp.. Will try that on weekend...If that work i will share with u guys...
