The screen does a good job of not glaring and the colours are nice but not perfect until you calibrate the colours yourself.
The keyboard is fine. Comfortable and sturdy. Also, adjustable sexy red backlighting and a bunch of useful function key functions. The gestures for the clickpad (with the drivers) work great but man clicking with it just sucks (left and right clickpad).
Alright, the CPU and GPU. I have not tried any of the resource heavy games like Battlefield or Crysis but the performance I've been getting for other games (LoL, osu!, some fps games) has been great so far. The i7 definitely runs like an i7.
On the temperature side, it does get a bit warm (but definitely not too hot) Around 80°C for the motherboard, 70°C for the CPU and the coolest was the GPU at around 65°C/under 70° (during heavy load). The fan runs quietly too, like really quiet.
The battery life, the HDD. When strictly not gaming/no media playing on Intel Graphics + power saver mode, it can last for about maybe 5 hours, 3 hours or so on the GTX 950m (ddr3). Personally, constant usage of the CPU or GPU like copying files or gaming on the GPU lasted me less than 1.5 hours. Kinda lame but it's to be expected from a 4 cell battery. The 1 TB HDD (5400 RPM) is okay overall, nothing special. Mine was pretty sluggish until I reinstalled everything from scratch.
Last but not least, the sounds. The laptop is running with Conexant drivers instead of the commonly used Realtek. It sounds great with my cheap headphones and just decent without them. Had to send my GL552 back for maintenance cause the left speaker was crackling and stuff at around 60% volume so I would really recommend those getting this baby to blast the sounds on the spot when buying.
And I'm done here
