Hi All,

I have met the M&E of SD yesterday evening. They have checked the arrestor and grounding of the house. There is no issue on the wiring and the arrestor.They even inspected the arrestor grounding. It was in good condition. Reading was 0.2ohm (below 3ohm is consider good condition). The culprit that causes the things burnt was the Astro dish. It was installed by Astro contractor which is not according to spec. It it located at the same level of the arrestor (too high). I never realized the placement of the dish since it was installed during dusk.



I requested them to check if there is any leakage from the roof tiles that can cause shorting to my down lights. It resulted the found a cracked roof tiles. Immediately replaced. But that crack is too small any does not contribute to any leakage. So, the conclusion is the Astro dish that contributes to the damages.

Will Astro be responsible of this issue?

Connection will be ready by end of Nov / Early Dec.

I wonder why would the surau not be build? It is already allocated in masterplan by SD, surely a good solid reason for not building it.
The township requires the facilities such surau, dewan orang ramai, playground, tnb reserved and etc to be approved by local authority.

May I know why achongs?

That can be work out between the community. We can collect funds & request for sponsor.
As long as there is allocation, the land will not be use for other purposes. It is up to the community to make it happen.

Maybe can be discus with the community on the funding. Can be work out. As long as there is already land allocation. It doesn't mean it wouldn't be build. That is just my concern.

Good effort bro for the complaints to SD.

Found out that a number of owners starts to move in to Saron. Maybe there should be a community/platform/social media(fb/whatsapp/telegram) groups that can be developed to keep us update on the current issue.

That is great. I think we can start. I got a few numbers of the neighbors around Saron 2. Its good to have a small community to raise any issues and perhaps just 'TT'.. Saron 2 owner can PM me your contact details if you are interested.

I found out that there is a lot of stray dogs. Keep doing mess of the sampah and trespassing houses. Is there anything we can do?

From my experience, 1hp in Master Bedroom is more than enough.. I even put timer on to switch off the AC unit during early morning. I use 1hp Panasonic for rooms and 1.5hp for hall..compressor is quite & all is fine.
