Hi all,

I am quite interested to play the game as the new expansion ( dark knight, flying mounts) looks cool .

but before that, I have some question though.

1. Since I am a new player, should I just buy the base game ARR and play first or should I buy the bundle together? ( I heard you need to be max level and complete the main story in order to access to the content of heavensward)

2. I have totally no experience and no idea where and how to buy this game via online. (some say greenmangaming but when I check the site, it says its not available in my region, need to use VPN ?)

3. Subscription fee how much will be if convert to RM? And usually how do you guys pay for the subscription fees?

These are my question currently hope I could get some help here, I already read the newbies handbook and currently updating the game and test it out in free trial first. hehe..

get the bundle together it will much more cheaper than buying them seperate and yes you do need to be lvl50 or finish all the MSQ in order to enter HW new maps and jobs

can go try kinguin or buy it from a local shop name Impulse Gaming (Impulse is selling EU version)

roughly RM40~50 per month i bought my time card at seagm for RM85/60 days

hope these answers will help you biggrin.gif
also now you can try the game with 14 days trial before you buy it

Seeing you're doing the trial, make sure you register at the right region that you'll be buying.

If you're registered on EU, buy EU version of the game. Same applies to US version.

For Heavensward expansion, no.

For base version you can find it cheap at g2play.net
I use that site frequently to buy MMO subs (SWTOR & FFXIV), never have any problem.

A note for Flying mount.

Yoshida did not reveal much about flying capability untill users went in new areas to find that in order to fly, players must attune aether currents.

This aether currents span across the huge map with some tricky spot that make you cross mountain and sea to attune them.
Not only attuning currents will open up the flying capability with any of your mount that flies, these aether currents is not complete even though you successfully attune all the currents in their respective spots.
Player still have to acquire remaining aether current from doing quests from specific npc.
These quests are also dependable on the level of your in game jobs.

The quests that rewards aether currents are usually in such manner.
3-4 quests that reward aether currents are normal side quests that are in that same map where you want to unlock the flying capability.
1-2 Is usually a dungeon/trial main scenario quest.

These are the maps that i know off that requires specific levels to fully attune all required aether currents.

Coerthas Western Highlands (Min lv51)
Dravanian Forelands (Min lv52)
Dravanian Churning Mists (Min Lv54)
Abalathia's Spine The Sea of Clouds Min(57)

It's like paying for a hooker service where the hooker not only requires a hefty sum of price but also have a certain criteria that needs to fulfill her needs.
