1/48 scale seems to be going strong but... Yamato still milking the VF1S Fokker, now reissued for the umpteenth time and also another reissue weathered version. I am thinking hard if the weathered version worth it.

The 1/60 Monster is a mustlah. It did not do much in the anime except during the daedalus attack maneuver. Most time it was cannon fodder. The robot looks nice and will complement the konig. I am going into debt oledi, need to print more money liow.

1/60 Yamato VF1 price...

For BIB stuff I have no commentlah, I dunno what is the price for 2nd hand yamato stuff, some may consider cheap. I guess you will have to check the condition and decide if the price is worth it. Summore sticker put on already.

Agreed, this one is up to the individual.

whats the current price of a 1/60 roy focker, hikaru and max guys?

Currently Yamato has only announced the release of the 1/60 Roy Fokker. I'll be getting the pricing soon icon_idea.gif . Yamato should be cashing in on the mold with Hikaru and Max soon after the release of Roy.

yeap..betul betul..same goes with the 1/48 DYRL..  biggrin.gif

and also want to add
1/72 and 1/60 macross plus also can consider perfect transformation as no need to detach anything to transform...correct me if i'm wrong...  smile.gif
*
1/60 Macross Plus and Macross Zero are all perfect transformation. The 1/60 YF19 is really good but the fins are a bit fragile, now waiting for 1/60 YF-21. The old 1/72 is perfect transformation also and its an OK toy to collect. I find it small and the plastic is a bit fragile. Early versions have a lot of QC problems especially with the paint. Later versions are much better in this aspect. But why bother with this when Yamato is releasing an all new 1/60 scale? Just hoe the QC at the China plant don't let it down.

I previously had some problems with the 1/48 VF1S Roy and 1/60 SV-51r Ivanov... ho hum!

I don't think there is confirmation yet, but I do hope so. There seem to be arivival of sorts for Macross. Bandai is restarting theri long dormant Macross lines again. So if Not Yamato, maybe Bandai...

lol i recommending start with yamato 1/60 VF-1S roy folker super strike valkyrie or any other zero series lol don't collect the 1/45 type because they soon will be replace with better type of 1/60
*
Don't know if the 1/60 will be improved upon the 1/48. I am looking for preproduction reviews and comparisons with the 1/48. If anyone come accross such a review please share here. My guess is that its the same transformation and details, just miniaturised. But the bonus is that it comes with the super and strike parts. In addition, it will be in scale with the other 1/60 from Zero and Plus...

SOme piccies of the upcoming 1/60 by Graham from Macrossworld... HERE

jason, correct me if i'm wrong, but if vf-1s is scaled down to 1/60, wouldn't it be significantly smaller, toywise, than the other 1/60 from Zero and Plus?
Or do u mean in term of real life size?  .

Also, I have previously owned a 1/60 non-perfect VF-1s and it is really small compared to its 1/48 brother. To those who finds 1/48 to big physically or financially, 1/60 vf-1s is an excellent alternative.
*
Bro, you are right. Compared to the 1/48, the 1/60 in battroid mode it will be significantly shorter, in Gerwalk not so much. In fighter mode the 1/60 will be shorter by just over 1 inches.

I am all for making the Yamato Macross toys more accessible to all. The 1/48 were quick heavy on both the hand and on the wallet.

Reality check.... Valks never existed in real life.... at least not in my version of reality... maybe u live in another reality wink.gif . Welcome back bro, why the long absence?
