today morning bfm talks about the value cap that they are looking to prop up the stock market in 6 sectors, covering stocks like MBB, united plantations and some REITS.
What do you think? |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Oct 27 2015, 10:27 AM) Revenue still growing... i always have good faith in such retail business, kinda recession proof.... not completely, but rather the mass market that they target.... their current model is quite sustainable.Earnings still growing... Albeit at the expense of reducing margins... But bear in mind, for apparels company, its margins is still considered decent, so still got room for further...discounting |

QUOTE(gark @ Oct 27 2015, 10:34 AM) Have you see cotton on, Uniqlo and H&M.. not exactly equal, some i find it more expensive in h&m and uniqlo though. the casual wear I think they still have their market. personal views la. Equal price but 'upscale' brand.. I stop shopping at padini and switched to those above for a couple of years already... Even the ladies are doing that.. there are still plenty of patrons visiting padini, imo. QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Oct 27 2015, 10:35 AM) i kinda agree with pinky. for office wear, i would go for something else, like zara, cuffz and etc. personally, i have only bought one thick climate wear from uniqlo. |

QUOTE(gark @ Oct 27 2015, 12:13 PM) You never shop there.. but you love the brand? i never shop in brands outlet, but i like the business model, easy and straight forward. If I buy a stock I believe in, I would consume accordingly to my stock holding .. if possible Like if I own a certain mall REIT, i would 'spend' my money there mostly. If I own certain food company, my food purchase will automatically follow... If certain bank, my services will gravitate there This is getting to know your investment.. close up. Intuition is sometimes better than analyst report if something does not feel comfortable, then its bye bye to the stock.. |

QUOTE(guy3288 @ Oct 29 2015, 09:28 AM) very long already, little profit only so far., was losing last few months, now only got a little profit. you should do your own DD, check on the fundamentals of the company, is the business model sustainable. if the company is doing well and growing, why should you sell if it have not reaches your own valuation of the company? the queue thing is an evil thing. it manipulate with some people's mind. if you know how to interpret the buy and sell queue, then you can also make your own judgement, it is just like charting, to predict the movement of the shares. but mind you, queue could be a made up story by some operators. |
