just booked an appointment with sc this saturday for 1K service, my car is quiet and smooth except for the tik sound that could came from windscreen. at first i thought it was stone hitting the screen, but then from my observation it seems like it usually happen during cornering (but not all the time). anyone able to pinpoint this issue? blush.gif

I've encountered the 'tik' sound on my windscreen twice since reading about it. May have occurred more previously which I didn't pay attention. It's not a loud sound like some say, more like a very tiny pebble hitting your windscreen. 'Tik' then it's gone. Where did it come from? As if I care. Why are some owners so sensitive to minor sounds like this? Come on guys, enjoy your car. No need to investigate every little fart it makes.

Hey yall,
Why our M3 got no panic button on key fob? Other parts of d world got rite? Can fit the panic button on the key fob at any mzda centre or not?
*
No you can't. In any case the alarm uses the puny horn to sound so I doubt any bad guy coming after you will be impressed. You could install an aftermarket alarm but that will probably void your electrical warranty.

Hahaha thanks for your reply buddy.
Would it be worth spending the few extra thousands to get the CBU instead?
*
You can't buy a new Mazda 3 CBU now. Unless you want to get an AP and import yourself.

What are the best possible practical way i can do to protect the car exterior ? coating ? polish ? wax ?

sorry, its my first time owning a car, nervous

and if so, must do the treatments the moment i got my car ? normally how much does it cost ? and which shop recommended ? im getting the car from Bermaz Laman Rimbunan Kepong ..

If I were you I would skip the coating and just use wax. Coating doesn't protect your car paint from scratches, watermarks, bird poo, tree sap or even UV light. It makes your car looks smooth, shiny and easy to wash but that's about it. You need more work to take good care of the coating like washing properly, claying and drying after rain. Having to go back to the shop to maintain your coating is a waste of your time.

my mazda 3 head and rear light will fog up when raining day for 3months.

Today finally I get the answer from BERMAS.

They not allow to claim warranty as this is "natural phenomena" and is happening to some of the Japanese car also..

WTF
*
This is very disappointing. How does BERMAZ explain why some M3 headlights have this "natural phenomena" and some don't?

Maybe complain to Ministry of Consumer Affairs or go to Consumer Tribunal?
