guys is this show pg13 or 18sg?

Its U. Can you believe it? Even Night at the Museum is PG13. Either all the violence has been cut or its considered a family movie where kids of all ages are encouraged to watch.

Anway...when can I start to buy tickets from TGV for Saturday's show? Seems like they're not selling the tickets seven day in advance like they did last year. Or maybe that was GSC...

I enjoyed the movie. The action scenes were also pretty darn good especially the part with the Motorterminators. Its been a while since I last saw an action movie that made me go "Whoa yea!". I think the last one was Die Hard 4.
As for the story, well if you've watched the trailer you'll pretty much be able to figure out what happens next. Not complaining though.
I don't mind paying to watch it again.

But I don't think I'll be watching movies in TGV Sunway Pyramid anytime soon again. I was watching it in this small hall and the audio was just...horrible. Flat. It just didn't have that real 'feel' to it. I know the big halls have better sound system but the hall I was in looks like a giant screen with speakers of a television. And all the rows of seat were just so close to each other you don't have much space for your arms and legs. GSC's small halls are much better. I also had bad experience the last time I watched in a big hall in the same cinema. The seats were uncomfortable and crammed, and they turned off the air con halfway. And their popcorn is tasteless. Now I remember why I've always prefer GSC.

Yeah I noticed most people who didn't like it are fans. Or people who are at least familiar with the first three movies. I can understand.

But if you take it as just another action/sci-fi movie then its a great watch. Though you do need to have a bit of knowledge of the previous films to be able to understand some parts.

Steven Spielberg said Jurassic World is THE sequel and it destroyed the box office despite the early lukewarm reviews and now the positive reviews have shot up and most people loved it.
James Cameron said the same thing about Genisys. If the creator says it good, then it might just be.
Watching this in IMAX 3D next Fri.

Watched this in IMAX 3D and was really dissapointed. Even the action scenes are a let down and don't even come close to how exciting T2 was.
The time line was also really confusing and I just couldn't keep up. I did watched the previous movies but this was still too much to take.

Surprisingly it kinda flopped in the US. Was expecting it to open big (at least in the first week) since its a big franchise. Even Jurassic World managed to beat it and that was out 4 weeks ago.
Overseas box office will still save it though.

I watched SPL2 in Mid Valley and encountered the same thing. Not sure if its a GSC thing because this never happened in TGV. Its really annoying to see all those lame ads.
