I'm an advocate for CGI but the action scenes in T4 were just poorly executed. It was jarring and messy.

Is there an action scene that is not jarring and messy?

one thing really irritates me was the fact that they used too many 'parody' of the previous film.

come with me if you wanna live.
i'll be back.
kyle reloading the shot gun like sarah connor.
john connor hearing kyle's moan for help (he did the mistake when he was 12 and he did it again 20 years later wtf lol)
the 'lava' scene of freezing the terminator.

pffttt... McG, come on. we need originality

Those are parodies? They look more like homage. In other words it is sort of a fanny-kissing. To my eye this is done probably because a guy like McG didn't feel like he can win the audience over by his own merit, so he evoked the ghost of the past movies. But for the audience who have already kissed Mr. (I'm the King of the World) Cameron's derriere for so long, any kind of fanny-kissing done to their No.1 movie of all time is a travesty.
