Moar discussions! I also had alot to clear out myself too. But if thinks too logically, jew just lost the fun and imaginations of it.  nod.gif

Most films don't make sense. That's why they are stories. But they are better stories if made believable. If I were to make a movie about dinosaurs, it's fiction. But just because I make a movie about dinosaurs, can I make pigs fly? You'd ask me to f*** myself. Same thing here, just because it's fiction doesn't mean it shouldn't make sense within the story.

If a motorterminator is programmed to calculate distance, sense and evade moving obstacles while pursuing a moving automobile, do you expect me to believe it can later get tripped over by a rope? A rope?

I just re-watched The Terminator and although I understand the reasoning as to why humans were captured instead of killed instantly (for free labor of course!) and the color palette in T4 is just as how Cameron depicted it in T1 but still T4 still lacks the suspense and soul that T1 has in abundance. Heck, the police station scene is better than any of the shit in T4.

Not to say CGI is no good, but using CGI can still make the impossible scenes , possible..BUT

Thats to show that real live action using stunt man and proper props is still better than CGI stuff where possible.

The most memorable scene at the police station when arnie said 'I'll be back' for the first time, before crashing his car into the building killing the front desk police man.

I'm an advocate for CGI but the action scenes in T4 were just poorly executed. It was jarring and messy.

Is there an action scene that is not jarring and messy?

I did not mean it literally if that was how you interpreted what I typed.

I think McG wanna compete with Bay. To see which robots is better. McG uses lots of explosion, we'll see later in Transformers 2 how many explosions there are. But McG forgot that the most important thing about Terminator is the story line and the elements of suspense. Bay doesn't need that. He's going to tell his robots are more colorful and cooler than McG's. smile.gif

T2 trailer already beats T4 movie.
