Email then okay liao? No need to take new card? Existing card automatic turn to Ikhwan Mastercard? hmm.gif
*
new card for u lah.

you are advised to surrender the existing card only upon collecting your new Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Card.

In the meantime, you may continue using your existing card until you receive your new Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Card.

split credit limit --> reduce m2card's credit limit, and assign it to ikhwan card.

*
that's the Minimum Monthly Repayment: 5% of Statement Balance or RM25, whichever is higher.

If your car can wait until early of next month, wait lor...haha

not that the gomen cares about rakyat's interests anyway. drop 50% also, not necessary they willing to reduce retail petrol price that much also. they'll just tweak the formula.

5x reward points yes. But I forsee myself using Amex much lesser going forward, not many places accept Amex too. There're many more card offering much better perks out there.
*
agree, 5X is nice, but you cant cash it out immediately/to next bill... the TPs are useless until you reached a certain redemption points.

10% Petrol, dining & telco bill - Wise (might be changing Wise category from Petrol to Groceries as I will be using lesser Petrol later months)
2% Utilities (auto debit) & 5% Online purchases - CIMB Cashback
5% Petrol & 2% Groceries - Citibank Cashback

1.25% Amex.. Hmm.. maybe can use for Guardian & Watson. But then I can reload my TnG at groceries place and use TnG to pay for it.
*
for Guardian, there's 15% discount if using CIMB cards. not bad mah smile.gif load some of your purchases in Guardian so that you dont have to go there for few months tongue.gif at least until some (new) cards give better rewards for Pharmacy biggrin.gif

Actually you can cash it out 2 to 3 days after transaction.... it will be reflected in the Rewards of M2Uonline.... you can cash it out/utilize it before you pay your statement....... this is where MBB differs from other banks...
*
how do you convert TPs and use it to pay your statement?

Vouchers... or places where you can convert points to cash payment (e.g. Parkson/SenQ/Harvey Norman)
*
adoi, that's the thing lor. i need to accumulate to x-amount to redeem a certain cash voucher.

if i spend RM50 with Amex, i get 250TPs which is roughly 1.25% equivalent. From a straightforward cashback card gives you RM0.625 to your bill. but 250TPs doesnt have anything valuable to redeem, so i cant cash it out immediately. i need to keep on spending to accumulate the TPs.

for small amount if TP, i am not going to accumulate anymore. Just spend at baskin robbins.
don't tell me you are the one that report  tongue.gif  tongue.gif  tongue.gif  tongue.gif
*
that's why small TPs are useless, it's yours but not yet yours until redeemed to something tongue.gif

direct $$ cashback is still preferred thumbup.gif
