spending period is from July until September, reward in November (4-6 weeks after end campaign). possible for some ppl to achieve but still got to be chosen from "randomizer program" aka Lucky Draw, so this is not guaranteed reward.

u sure all transactioma were on weekends (sat/sun) in June?

rebates are given from dates captured from maybank. might want to call and ask them to clarify.

TNB confirm need to pay, no way to cancel the service unless you dont need electricity

Unifi, if u plan to use it for >6months, then overpaying to max out RM50 cashback would be useful too


for me, since Unifi has GST, i would (over)pay about RM800 to it (last me about 6 months). the remaining RM200 on TNB (last me about 3 months)

if open to all categories, then no changes to amex benefits lor. but, maybank will still proceed with the benefit reduction, and currently contemplating some options

wait till 1 August until all their documents, website, social media channels are published to the public

then we can see what are the actual changes.

for now, they removed the category or whatnot from the notice is just to manage expectation (i.e. anger from customers). they might/might not include category-specific cashback.

one thing for sure: come 1 Aug, cashback for m2card amex will be reduced tremendously.
