they already expecting it. they even prepared the conversion form if you want to convert all your conventional mbb cards (where the card features/benefits were revised recently) to their islamic cards (where the card features/benefits still maintain).

came back from gardens empty handed.

they say must update my income data.
submit salary slip, bank statement again etc etc
so troublesome,
like new application.

however,
if split and reduce/allocate some credit limit from M2U card
they can give the ikhwan card within 1 hour (working days).
too bad it is friday after office hours,
gonna do it again monday.

OMG just saw the update today, I love their 5% cashback the most, too bad.
But still will keep it for this year as there is promotion with TGV,
need to find a replacement card for petrol then. =/

no need to wait until 1/8, you already can cut it into half starting 27/7. but officially only terminate it after you receive your cb in early august.

I gt existing MBB 2 cards.
Apply for ikhwan and get rejected mayb due to the credit limit issue.
Since there is no point keeping 2 cards.
I sign the conversion form to convert my 2 cards into ikhwan via email.
Accepted almost immediately.

Now am using the ikhwan already.

NO POINT to use the AMEX at all.
Do note that quite a lot of dining outlet eg. Johnny's restaurant as i encounter refuse to accept AMEX mayb due to higher charges.

Number of card makes it harder to apply new card..  that's something new for me. How the bank knows how many cards we have? Our CCIS or CTOS got report?
Anyway I seldom fail in applying. Even if failed, reapplied and always second time do the charm.
So until today, I have almost all the cashback card in the market...
