Steam broke the gems packing/unpacking function. Also some of the item randomly can't be turned into gems. It's like they don't even care anymore.

Nah, steam only started using RM for almost a year, the difference in price for new game from last year and the current new game aren't that much

consider this, when released
Far Cry 4 - rm200++
Watch Dog - rm200++
GTA V - rm150(and we get it 2 years after console)
call of duty game - rm150++
dragonball xenoverse - rm160

basically most of the big publisher games always priced that way, the only reason it's seem expensive because of the big number after using rm. Before that we only see $39 - $69 pricetag for new game, which always over rm100 after converted even before ringgit weakened.

If skyrim was released after the rm usage, it pretty much will get the same pricing with fallout right now

Both published by warner bros, and obviously the game publishing isn't their main source of income, compared to say, activision, bethesda, ubisoft and rockstar, so it's not hard for them to be more generous with regional pricing
