Yesterday my superior at LYN by the name of fruitie, informed me that Maybank will be revising their FREE Entries to Airport Lounges with their Credit Cards EFFECTIVE 1st March 2016. So after reading a few posts at LYN, I called Maybank and American Express Customer Service to verify:
First the BAD NEWS - American Express Platinum Credit Card will no longer entitle the cardholder to FREE access to Plaza Premium Lounge, i.e. Zip, Nil, NONE.
A few NOT SO GOOD NEWS:
American Express Charge Card - 12X FREE access to Plaza Premium Lounges and selected AMEX Lounges and Delta Lounges overseas.

Maybank 2 Cards Premier and Visa Infinite Stand Alone 5X FREE access to Plaza Premium Lounges nationwide is maintained - still can get FREE makan at Green Market. AND we get FREE entries to overseas Plaza Premium Lounges in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing and Vancouver.

However, the Maybank 2 Cards Premier is still the best card to have if you want to fly Business Class for FREE as it will earn you Enrich Miles and KrisFlyer Miles faster than any other credit card on earth. And if we are flying Business Class, it makes no difference if we have the Priority Pass Membership Card or not
And now for the VERY GOOD NEWS:
Until end of February 2016, we get 10% EXTRA Enrich Miles when we convert our Credit Card Reward Points to Enrich Miles. AND very soon, we can get up to 50% discount with Enrich Miles to London!!! Please refer attached image.
This is really fantastic as I plan to take my 3 younger children to London in June this year; but I got a strong feeling it is for travel period up to 31 May 2016 only. |

I have updated Post#1 as instructed by fruitie I really been busy, just published two articles, first on Maybank Treats Points Revision Effective 15 April 2016 and second on what are The Best Credit Cards to use for Utilities and Insurance and PTPTN too.So what I did was simply copy and paste info posted at my Airport Lounge Page and edit it where applicable.
