I can also go to KLIA 2 if it's needed and don't mind hopping from one PPL to another PPL but would like to avoid it as I have a luggage to lug around.

My flight is at 9.40 a.m. from KLIA, if I want to go there a night before and to shower and sleep, which one is the better choice? KLIA PPL is after check in which I still cannot check in yet at that time.

QUOTE(sukitena @ Jan 21 2016, 11:04 PM) Thanks. It is silent on that in the website, except saying that we will earn 5x points for every RM1 equiv overseas transaction so I suppose for local it is RM 1 = 1 AMBonus Points Since you brought up this topic and I just noticed online transactions also entitled for 5x but my last purchase was from online and I got RM 1 = 1 point only.I will make a call soon to AmBank to check this out. |

QUOTE(sukitena @ Jan 21 2016, 11:34 PM) Is your card AmBank Platinum? http://www.ambank.com.my/eng/cards/platinum Ah yes. Thanks for the correction. It doesn't say online banking will have 5x? Correct me if I'm wrong: Earn 1 AmBonus Point for every RM1 you spend! 2X AmBonus Points for overseas spend. The reward of 2X AmBonus Points is only applicable to card transactions outside Malaysia. All online transactions are not entitled to 2X AmBonus Points regardless the country the Cardmember is in. Airline Miles conversion at over 50 airlines partners. I was in rush just now, I guess only VI and WMC are entitled for 5x if it is online transaction. |

QUOTE(wing2010 @ Jan 22 2016, 09:53 AM) no need too early also ma? cab surcharge only applicable bet 12mn-6am right? if scare too rush/jam can consider go sentral then take klia ekspres, at least the night before can comfortably sleep in own bed kan? Yes, I wanna avoid the midnight surcharge actually. From my house to KL Sentral and then take KLIA Express, the amount of money spent could have brought me to KLIA straight. Thanks for the advice though, only after I check in only go to PPL la. |

QUOTE(laymank @ Jan 29 2016, 08:33 AM) Here's the reply from PPL. Very good piece of information. Warmest Greetings from Plaza Premium Lounge, Malaysia. Thank you for your email. We are pleased to share with you the eligibility credit card (Malaysia Issued) as below, who are entitled for complimentary lounge access. It is advisable to check with the bank issued card for the Term & Condition of complimentary access. Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be glad to assist you. Thank you. Gen-X, maybe can update this attachment in first post? I just got to know Guangzhou is in for AmBank's cards. |

I'm thinking to skip KLIA PPL for Flight Club, worth for it? Just for makan-makan and relax before flying off in the morning.

QUOTE(laymank @ Jan 29 2016, 02:57 PM) I read it somewhere but forgot which thread, it is not that good I heard. Anyway, I can only check it out in April. I don't think I will fly anytime soon unless I'm required to travel to Philippines for business trip, hinted by my boss that day. |
