QUOTE(ken_zie @ Oct 24 2008, 08:51 PM) how many days does it take to be activated to digi if i change from hotlink prepaid to digi postpaid? i'll be given a new simcard on the day i went to the digi shop to register for the convertion or i only get it few days later? do i need to have a certain amount of balance in the hotlink prepaid if i want to convert to digi postpaid? 3-5 days but should be less than that, some within few hours. reading post from here seems like many are changing to digi... Yes, you will be given a new SIM card on the spot. No, you must clear all your credit balance and bonuses in Hotlink because it can't be brought forward to DiGi. |

QUOTE(hankeymeal @ Oct 25 2008, 07:52 AM) I also changed from hotlink to digi postpaid DG50.I went to Tesco Ampang at 11am.At 4pm my digi line has been activated. My mom a maxis user.Monthly around RM300.What is the best plan in Digi for her?Is it good for her to be my supplementary line?I want to lower her bill.Around RM200 if possible. ![]() Based on the above comparison chart, I would say that DG 250 suits your mum's need. It is because once reaches RM 250 of usage, your mum can get RM600 worth of calls & SMS to any network for only RM250 per month. One low flat rate of 10 sen for Calls and SMS after free usage. Lowest MMS rate of 20 sen to any network. Source: http://www.digi.com.my/switch/why_sub4.jsp...00&dgplan=dg250 ![]() Does your mum call you often? What types of calls does she make? To Maxis mostly? It may be also a better choice for your mum to be your supplementary line because she will get unlimited free calls/SMS-es/MMS-es when you call her or she calls you. After all, she only pays for RM 30 commitment fees and shares the same call and SMS rate as you. This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 25 2008, 08:48 AM |

QUOTE(ahsia80 @ Oct 25 2008, 03:56 PM) I will follow you.... I had this problem too when I was on my Samsung phone, a very rare model. After switched to SE P1i, and still the problem persisted, called service centre and chatted with the customer service officer via D'Chat and they helped to solve the problem, eventually everything is solved. Maybe you should advise your girlfriend to do that? so far so good...just my gf line still cant receive mms... after actived and setting up for dozen of times thru *128# and OCS... damn.. anyway..OT o.. My frens are beginning to see light after sending to them the DIGI chart above This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 25 2008, 05:36 PM |

QUOTE(dos @ Oct 27 2008, 12:16 PM) I want to know more about the 365days validity when u switch to digi prepaid. Can i go out and buy a new hotlink/celcom starter pack then switch and get the validity? Or do you have to own the number for a set amount of time? Yes, can. What plan/telco are you using now? That means any porting to DiGi prepaid will allow you to have free 365 validity. |

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Oct 30 2008, 06:54 PM) I am also a Maxis user for 8 years. I'm gonna jump to Digi. Going to settle my outstanding amount tomorrow, then apply at Digi either tomorrow evening or Sat morning. There's no contract AFAIK, so if it doesn't work, I can always jump back to Maxis. Yes, no contract attached. Time to change. The power is in your hands. |

QUOTE(cyc85 @ Oct 31 2008, 06:25 AM) i switched to Digi dy. When i check the balance, it still ask me to reload before 31/10/08 That's weird. Everyone is getting one year validity. Why? I tot if we switch to Digi then we will get 365 days active plan? QUOTE(shikuzika @ Oct 31 2008, 12:41 PM) I don't like MNP. now i won't know if my friends are a digi, maxis or celcom user. the rates are different right? MNP is confusing. Well, that is when you should opt for providers that give one flat call rate like DiGi and Celcom. |

Actually I don't really care who leads the MNP market be it Celcom or DiGi but definitely not Maxis.
As extracted from above: QUOTE Maxis Communications Bhd CEO Sandip Das expects the company to remain the market leader post MNP. "Why should I be worried (about MNP)? All this while, the consumers have made us the number one brand," Das said. So arrogant. |
