ic...the only choice is to wait for 2 more days, might be too many ppl doing switching into DiGi that cause the delay, thank you for your patient

Guys,

I confuse after reading the whole topic...
Currently i using M postpaid, i plan to swith to D postpaid,
But i was in the RM 75 plan and RM 50 for my sub-line
(Monthly RM 139 for both line + some stupid charges)
If i change to D postpaid, do i need to pay for the M post paid for January month? or advice to port at the end of January or the billing date?
Second, how is the D line coverage, i heard that the coverage at the urban area is not so good... but i from KL la...
Lately i found that the M line is very terrible... keep on drop my line...

can advice... thanks
*
that is a very old plan from maxis, my advice is to choose DG50+1family subline.

when ever u port wont effect the billing. let say u port today, so maxis will bill u up to the day u successfully ported out from maxis, and the rest will be DiGi.

for me i have no coverage problem with DiGi in urban area, all the indoor building and basement that i went got coverage, but rural area still needs improvement. my frens on maxis switched to digi due to dropped call problem too. someone facing the problem where full bar but couldnt receive and make call and SMS

Could anyone tell me the procedure of changing maxis supplementary-line to digi supplementary-line?

example:
maxis mainline is person A, supplementary line is person B

want to change to Person C's Digi supplementary line while keeping the numbers.
*
the procedure is , person B sub-line is holding person A details. so person A and B must go to maxis center, told them to separate the sub-line which person B is using as a principle line with person B details. Than, person B and C go to any DiGi stores to transfer to person B maxis line into person C DiGi sub-line.

the another option is, separate the sub-line into principle account with person C details , with the presence of person A and C at maxis center. than person C can just easily switch the subline into his/her DiGi account as a subline for person B.

thanks for the reply.
for the first procedure, how long do i need to wait before switching person B maxis principle line to person C's digi supplementary line? what is the cheapest solution while keeping the numbers?
as i understand, switching from person A supplementary line to person B principle line, person B is charged RM50, then switch to digi supplementary line is charged at RM30.
*
it depends, for my case only one day the line get switched dy. Doing switch from other telco into DiGi is totally FOC.

if transfer person A sub-line to person B individual principle line will get charged RM50, i got charged for that too, but i don't really mind; as wasted RM50 but in the future save even more on DiGi postpaid. I think Maxis applied this charge to prevent people to changing account to prepared for switching, as DiGi dont even have this charges.

there was a complain fron ppl who port from maxis to digi too, they found out that is maxis problem which doesn't fully "release" the line and your line some sort like still kept in maxis system. u need to complain to digi, they might help u on this
