They can only check the number of facility/credit limit you have with the banks.

They can't check your income records if you don't provide them. 

No banks can check your tax/income records unless you provide them.

Btw, does anybody know how long does the balance transfer takes? I read on this thread and the balance transfer thread 5 working days? Mine is almost 7 working days still money not in. Though I can see aeon has already charge the monthly amount last week.
