Hi I have a panasonic Cordless phone model : TX-TCD 150. I saw this super long range cordless phone which is selling at very very high price. So im thinking of modifying this current one to give further range. More like DIY. Any electronic expert here ? Please share.... I will do it... just need guide... proper guide and suggestion. Maybe adding antenna or anything. My cordless is digital and its DECT.
Please share.... cheers This post has been edited by rattan: Jan 7 2009, 07:06 PM |

Well, it's pretty interesting n if he does it, he's gonna hafta mod it. Hence it's in the mods section.
Interesting..................... anyone got ideas? I did a lot of research on WIFI range extension. It shud b pretty similar concepts. Mebe get a bigger fatter antenna n use that? Edit: hehehe this topic is so amusing that it's had 40 hits in a few minutes. This post has been edited by ianho: Nov 1 2006, 02:29 AM |

normally those long range cordless phone uses different frequency to allow further transmission. for your case, its either power up the transmitter and receiver or increase the antenna coverage.
