i am going jan..!

Im going to bangkok on a family trip during next year's chinese new year which is on 15th to 18th of february.  Is there any serviced apartment or suite which can fit 8 of us ? The maximum budget for one night is rm500.  Ive been looking high and low and i cant find any of them suits us.  Maybe i missed some of them? by the way, we are looking on those hotel which is situated at Sukhumvit.  Thanks lots..

i book the ground tour only for 5days 4 night plus one day extra free and easy which mean 6 days 5 night for rm1200...then i booked airasia ticket which cost me rm 600+ .. this is the price for 2 person..which hotel they offer you?

air ticket u buy ur own? i think the price is quite ok.. if not u can try eazytravels.com they offer quite cheap package too.. i did booked bangkok tour from them last yr.. not bad the arrangement.. but not sure abt now..

take BTS to Ekamai station. from there, walk to the ekamai bus station.

go to the bus stop and buy the bus ticket for express bus to Pattaya. the bus is in blue & white in colour.

Don't take other type of bus and ignore those guys who come to you. those buses also go to pattaya. but instead of going straight to pattaya, they stop at every stop.

i had bad experience with it. instead of a 2hr journey, it became a 4 hr nitemare...

Actually, some of the best (and ridiculously cheap) thai food I had was at the floating market.  Was about 2 hrs away though, past the area where you can catch seafood at the beach.

Go for the tom yum!  They are all in stalls, kinda like going to a ming tien or something.  So just look look and pick what you want.

Don't recall what the floating market was called again... Will get back when I talk to my mom again, she was the one that took us around. 

Hmmm, well its pretty much taking the clams outta the beach/sea bed.  Not exactly the most exciting, but its worth a try once for the experience.  And you can get quite a bucketful! Which you can bring back to steam and eat Just go early in the morning before the tide drops or you'll have to walk quite a bit to reach a good spot.

Pandar - What exhibition was it? My sister was talking bout it but never mentioned what it actually was -__-  But yeah, will be going there again on nov, weather should still be blazing hot I think. Hahaha yeah, its fine, Suam Lum isn't very far from where I stay.

Well, you can sell the clams back to the stalls, its not worth much though.

Moms' thai and my parents stay in bkk, so they got a kitchen

well for the massage "center" i guess the best would be healthland. but otherwise just go around to any nice looking massage place by the road. try find one with nice ambiance. more relaxing. some of them have bright flourecent lights and stuff. so ridiculous.

when u go down.... Right is to Robinson , Left is to Central supermarket
Take Left...

then u have to pass by some shoplots..
there are 2 kopitiam within that shoplot..
1 sell chicken rice.... 1 sell beef soup noodle...

both also best....  chicken rice aunty can speak mandarin...

Then hio.. at night... if u're still in Silom...
There got one fitnes centre.. if u walk down a bit....
opposite is an electronic store.. selling tv... dvd.... etc..
that corner .. got one Wan than Mee store....

that one also bagus.. LoL

not really sure, i just went there once. after that i just got lazy and go to any massage store. im sure if you google it you can find it. they even have a branch in kl i think. the one in centerpoint bandar utama.
most of the stalls got pretty good food. i just thought its funny the shops you put all are like malaysian specialty food heheh. chickenrice, beef noodle soup and wan tan mee hahaha. i love the pad thai and tom yum goong. check it out. most places is sedap gile.

healthland is damn good and worth the money......its near silom but i cant exactly recall...check their website

bkk to pattaya is like 2-3 hours by car. but anyways i dont really understand... if it is such an inconvenience to go to pattaya then why on earth are you going? summore you are so rushed to make a plan when your trip is like 3-4 months away hehe.

just google. "top 10 things to do in bangkok" or "top 10 things to do in pattaya"

just relax. you are going for a holiday right. so relax. dont need to stress out. i never plan any of my trips. just plan the flight and everything else is on the fly. you are going for vacation. arrive at the hotel, open a map and circle the places near to each other and you'll be set.
