It helps if u got the travel book with english-thai-english translator.

and if possible, get the names of places u wan to go, spelled out in THAI. Not all cab drivers know english or in alphabets ABC.

But sometimes, if you're lucky, some of them can even speak mandrin..lol..which i found out once. Thought this girl was native thai, mana tahu she reply back in mandrin.. hehehehe..which my fren knows how to speak la. (coz i mandrin oso tarak paham..worse  sweat.gif )

oic...where to get these book?im so busy la...no time to search around

TAXI  biggrin.gif  Not very expensive la. Should be less than 500baht i think.

February, i think the weather here is screwed la. Feb should be warm like usual. April is the hottest, but its also SONGKHRAN!  rclxm9.gif  everybody shoots water at anybody !!! (and temperature soars to 37C and above...scorching!)

Aik u just mentioned the biggest 7 the most authentic wan - Damnoen Saduak earlier...

For me I went there by fagging a normal taxi outside my hotel & barain kaw-kaw till 800bath to there...Thereafter another hard bargaining (Almost walk-out) for the engined boat towards the market (1000bath)...the taxi will also brings you to whatever attraction along the way up to your liking such as Snake farm, crocodile farm, elephant farm & etc...I ended up at Wat Po/ & palace on that day...
*
then how many hour i will spend at this floating market? say i depart from my hotel at 6.30am to this floating market wut time i can come back to my hotel?please give more advice cos tis is my first time to BKK

4 days & you are concentrating on Patayya I think you hv no time on Floating market-lah.. It will be about 1-1.5hrs to Dmanoen Saduak, another 2-3hrs rounding the market & thereafter ~ 1hr+ bck to bangkok. U will be bck in BKK ~ 2/3pm.

Dirty ah u ..Thai girls show  drool.gif  shocking.gif ..That's illegal hor. I din try in BKK but tried in Phuket..It's already illegal even I last watched it in 1996!! They will secretly bring you to a secluded slump area..in a slump small teater. lotsa gansters manning outside.. shakehead.gif  I think not adviseable just seeing that nude circus & a man & woman making love on stage  biggrin.gif  Lotsa ladies watch out 1/2 way thruout the show..kenot stand..
*
oh u missunderstand jor...like this i have total 6days in BKK...so i'll reach BKK on 11/2 and back to kl on 16/2 so on 11,12,13 is free n easy wherearea 14,15,16 is like the itenary i wrote

erm then i think dun wun go tiger show cos im wit my bro n mum...hehe

oh how bout suan lun night market?anything nice there?wut time it will open?

Perhaps from Airport u check whether u coudl get to Pattaya straight by bus or van. Then back on Friday. Or from Pattaya, see whether u go go straight to Ayuthaya in d morning (take package tour) then back to BKK in d evening from there. (m not too sure whether suggestion given to you workable or not. U got to really check it especially trasportation to all these places and must preplan) On Sat morning go to floating market.u will be back by half day trip. With d rest of the half day - u can go to china town , wat arun, wat po, grandpalace(go chinatown last) so that U can enjoy dinner there or if u dun want the temple trip, can go to shopping at pratunam & platimum (Note both places close by 5-6pm) . Then on sunday,go to JJ market u will probably spend there till afternoon or evening d.

On monday, u may not have so much time for more shopping as u got to leave yr hotel by 3 pm otherwise u will be caught in d jam. U have privillge of shopping from 10 am till 2 pm only. Do note hotel check out time is 12 noon. Ask whether they allow late check out at 2 pm for free.otherwise pack yr luggage n leave at the receptiion or bell boys.Make sure u stay hotel near BTS, easy for u to travel around.

Don't take the risk to be so far. What if the transportation u took broke down half way...so many things could happen.

Added on January 30, 2010, 6:27 pm

U might get yr self caught in d traffic jam when u leave for airport. Dunno where u stay but if u r within the city plan at least 3 hrs to airport. D jam is not not like KL , is worst!
