Only way to extend Magic SIM validity is to top up.

EXP1 and EXP2 here is only for the older IOX plan.

1 year rm30

2 years rm50

After purchase must reload rm30, not before

Previously said must reload in first 6 months, but some say new one must reload in 3 months, or else the validity will be nullified
*
OK if one pays rm50 for 2 yrs validity and then tops up the minimum required rm30 within 3 or 6 months, is it certain that one will get free basic internet for 2 years? Referring to magic sim

oh darn it what a shame both magic sim and the u mobile new prepaid plan don't have extended validity so "must" throw rm30 per month to remain active and use free internet (basic).

You can only subscribe to EXP1/2 validity extension with the old XPAX card, but any new registration now can only be subscribed as Magic SIM plan.

You can't get the old XPAX SIM pack from the regular shops as it'll become Magic SIM once registration is done.

Just curious, but does this mean that if someone has the old XPAX that allows EXP1/2, it can be transferred to another name and yet stay as the same plan? Won't be changed to say, Magic SIM?

well,
i really not sure coz i guess just changing name should not effect the OLD plan.
As stated, NEW registration will auto migrate to Magic SIM.

Changing name is not considered New registration, my guess.
Anyway, no harm asking Celcom Customer or walk in to Ampang Celcom Center.
to me, it like buying the number from old user.

What about migrating away to the plan that has long validity?

Quite odd that Celcom is removing the extend validity for new subscribers of the Magic Sim.

when the launch of Magic Sim, thought that the EXP option will remain, really regret changing it to Magic Sim. Hmm...

Why can't Celcom include that in Magic Sim ? sad.gif
We are paying for the validity mar... I'm sure it's the Free Internet that conflicts with the validity extension. hmm...
