There is grand seiko and also Astron (GPS), However  I think the GPS cannot be used in Malaysia. So really depends what you like. I quite like Astron and quite useful in Japan as train normally leave on the dot.

Anyway I am not sure what is being sold in Malaysia though.

seiko watch pricing wise, is it cheaper to buy in japan or m'sia??

Have to buy those Malaysia dont have. So cannot make compare.

If those model can found at Malaysia then Malaysia cheaper. Japan watch 90% all made in Thai

For latest model, its better you buy in Japan. You can make comparison based on Yodobashi price.Based on currency exchange at Maybank Forex Rates ,RinggitMalaysia..is RM3.54 = ¥100 yen . If you think money is non issue..just buy in Japan .

Currently,I`m have my Casio Pro Trek tough solar ...price around ¥20,000 bought at Rera Chitose Mall on 2007. This model Made in Thailand. Still ok till now.

Some watch maker like Seiko ,Casio...are cheaper price..most Made In China. Most expensive price watch are Made In Japan.

Bought for my friend on June this year at Yodobashi Akihbara...new model Casio Edifice..Tough Solar..the price is ¥34,500 ..also got pointer ¥2555 then Mastercard charge me at RM1074.79

hmm really lot's of challenges... then i need to reach tokyo station at least 40minutes before the boarding time.
decision decision, to reserve seat or not in advance

20th november considered peak season? (a day before the long weekend holiday)
i actually would like to reach kyoto as early as possible to utilise the daylight time for sightseeing in kyoto.
i think the safest plan is to book a "acceptable"-early shinkansen instead of super early one..

i am landing on 20th nov tooo. long weekend holiday?? what holiday? school holidays ka?

if u are going to kawaguchiko area, during the day the temperature was around 16c and night was around 9c

As for others like tokyo, kyoto and osaka, daytime around 20 - 22c and night around 16 - 18c. for kids maybe should wear light jackets i guess if they cant tahan. just like walking in an aircond room  biggrin.gif
my samsung was fine without any problem when connecting to the pocket wifi all day long
*
ok!!! my trip 3 weeks from now (20/11-2/12), i believe not so much different then, temp won't drop so much kua.

just gonna pack a light jacket to layer over knit-wear top inside and jeans will do. thumbup.gif

yea u are right. flight aa to haneda touchdown at 10.30pm, then they parked very2 far, had to walk quite a distance. Plus at that 10.30pm, there will be around 2 or 3 flights touchdown too at the same time. the immigration looking like chow kit already rclxub.gif queuing took around another 30 - 40 minutes. so after all done, came out at the arrival around 11.30pm, nothing much to see already haha

yup, i suppose it gets colder towards dec. average nov around 17hi-10lo, i believe still bearable with layering.

my flight, lucky i acted fast (july) and managed to re-route to KLIA-BKK-Narita (with extra 1 extra night in BKK). i heard AA no more allow that after aug

does the KIX exchange apply the as narita?

rm30 for 1000 Yen is too tempting, huge saving (rm1800 saving for 300k Yen at current local exchange)

Officially yes.
Exchanging Yen at Japan are much better than exchange at Malaysia. But.......there is a risk.
Those exchanger they have quota. Example one day they only accept Rm10000 only and that day you very unlucky....quota already reach 8000. Means you only can exchange rm 2000only.

Willing to take risks?  No risk no gain
*
bro RC,

your opinion in blue>> are the money changers in Narita airport included or are you referring to one specific outlet in KIX?? icon_question.gif
