Thanks, cempedaklife and cybpsych.

The effective all-inclusive fee is 2.12%. So, it is definitely worthwhile for those who have Public Bank Visa Signature Card.

The rest who only have other credit cards will not be so fortunate.

I know you can use the card to pay using posonline.

What I'm saying is after registering the card in m2u, when we go to bill payment in m2u, when you select this card, iwk account number is not one of the option you can choose to pay for
*
even having maybank cards, you can't pay IWK too. just CASA. biggrin.gif

3rd party card in m2u to pay bills only limited to certain payees also.

*
read Human Nature's response: depends on MCC code

and no, you dont know what MCC for each merchant. only find out after swiping the card, at the dining place, then call CS to verify the MCC associated to the transaction you performed.

Applied for PB VS, but got a Platinum instead. Any chance to request for a PB VS instead? Requirements are met as far as I'm concerned.
*
call in CS, ask them that you want to appeal for VS instead. give them your reasons, e.g. met income level etc etc they'll file your appeal for review. few days later, they'll call u back on the results.

if not satisfied, then cancel the Platinum card lor.

ahhh so u mean FD can actually be counted besides our annual income?
*
adoi, u pledge the money into FD, then can apply lor.

the FD is the collateral for the card. you cannot uplift the FD without terminating the card first.

so, you are basically locking the money for as long as you use the card.

not worth it.

wahh then really not worth. Is there any other possible ways besides this?
*
ppl with annual income 80-90k also cannot get this card. what do u think income <50k can get leh?

no other ways. either income to proof or pledge (lock) your money using FD.
