QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Oct 10 2015, 08:12 AM) I have finished my rebate quota for this month but planning to buy something from overseas online site. besides the point, you need to think about the admin fee each bank is charging. Between PB VS and MB VS, which bank has a better exchange rate? https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1845691 PB is charging 1.25% on top of the purchase amount. MB Visa / Master is charging 1% on top of it. This post has been edited by pvateme: Oct 11 2015, 09:39 AM |

guys, just to update, i have my supp card with separate statement and credit limit when i apply the card. i called and CS told me supp card cannot have ebanking yet, and, he confirm that my supp card will have separate rebate quota since it is in separate statement with primary card. i am going to buy something using the supp card these days, will need to wait till the next statement. will update you all again by then.

QUOTE(harmonics3 @ Oct 16 2015, 12:06 PM) I quote the PB Visa Signature directory of services below: en, not too sure also. i am yet to verify the info. good if anyone can try and share out. so we can then use amex instead of VS at starbucks puteri whenever need to top up our starbucks card.Groceries: MCC 5411 Dining: MCC 5812, 5813 & 5814 Looks like the dining coverage is wider. Unless there are many more MCCs than the 3 quoted above for dining. btw, i think we can top up using credit card now at starbucks website? if yes, can try using this PB VS card to obtain the 6%. I am yet to try out too. |

QUOTE(minthiam @ Oct 11 2015, 01:30 PM) That's probably the pre gst rate. I just call mbb customer service last week and they told me it's 1.25% + 1% (visa/mastercard) am not sure what is the correct information. i just called both MBB and PB, they give me the below information.PB - 1.25% MBB - 1% so the information i gotten from CS are still sync with another forum thread which i shared previously. |

QUOTE(wing2010 @ Nov 18 2015, 10:17 AM) heya, u've done statement date change before right? just wanna confirm.. u also received full cashback when the statement was less than a month in duration? i didnt change statement date for my supp card, as it is same date as my principal card.and yes, i did request date change for my principal card last time. but, unfortunately i canot confirm for you on the cash back allocation as i dont have any transactions within the old date and new date period. but according to CS, it will be rm50 cash back for each statement. meaning to say, if you change your date from 18 to 3, you will get one statement from on 18th this mth, and another statement on 3rd next mth, and you will have cash back allocation for each statement. |

QUOTE(JCogent @ Nov 27 2015, 05:54 PM) I don't quite get it, when you say seprerate limit do you mean for example my credit limit is RM50K and i assign 5K to the supp card? Because when i called CS they say cannot seperate the credit but can only assign a cap for the supp card. you are right. it means you assign a cap your supp card. in normal cases, if you dont assign the credit limit seperately, the supp card is sharing the same limit as the primary card, which means, the supp card can swipe to max 50k. |

QUOTE(CalvinCLK @ Dec 2 2015, 03:16 PM) Aikss.. I didnt opt for seperate credit limit and statement for supp card. in this case, your total rebate will be combined for both cards, i.e. rm50 a mth.you must have the above set up to entitle for the separate rebate. |

QUOTE(asiatrader98 @ Dec 4 2015, 03:17 PM) is it new application or supp card application? How you apply it ? online or call the cs to send you the application by using email? Thk I apply sub card by filling up the credit card application form, and submit to the branch.so, if separate the credit limit to 30% supp card, to get both RM50 each card need to spend at least RM834 to get the 6% RM50 per month? In the form, you can assign a credit limit for the sub card, like 5k, or 10k. And you can tick to choose to have a separate statement for your sub card. You cannot view sub card transaction or statement online after applying separate statement for your sub card. And, PB only send hard copy for sub card under this set up. Of course, the more you spent, the more rebate you can get. Example: If you spent RM500 in your sub card, you get RM30 rebate in your sub card. And during the same statement month, if you spent RM500 too in your primary card, you will get RM30 rebate in your primary card too. Total rebate for both card is RM60. If you want to achieve the max, you need to spend RM834 in each of your primary and sub card. In summary, if you are not a big spender and not spending over RM834 a month in the allocated rebate categories, no point applying sub card with separate credit limit and statement then. |

QUOTE(wing2010 @ Dec 4 2015, 05:01 PM) nope must be separate statement caz now supp is considered a separate acc yes. same.so i ended up having e-statement for principal and hardcopy for supp, u too right? i really hope they will improve the system so that sub card can have online login too. so we dont need to wait for hardcopy statement and being penalty for late payment. i dont have confidence in postage system in malaysia. |
