U sure  he/she said reduce to 5% ?
*
I think it's more like, spend RM1000 a month with 5% cashback cap at RM50 per month
easier than
RM833.33 with 6% cashback cap at RM50 per month.

I did a refund on AliExpress for a USD transaction completed in July.
Would you all think PBB will "debit" the rebate given on the July or based on the new USD amount credited in September
*
I would think so.
You untung loh!

You didn't answer the question

"debit" the rebate given on the July or based on the new USD amount credited in September
*
I would think it will be rebated in USD and the bank will use the current rate to refund in MYR.

wah..thanks for the info.

I have 3 bookings on ' pay later '  mode.
Going to call closer to date to change to another card.

Is the transaction eligible for the points, even tho u didn't get the cash rebate?
*
Is the 6% here referred to the 'Online transaction cash rebate' by PB VS?
If so, yes, it will follow the posting date.

Do bear in mind that if you opted 'Pay Later' in other currency, it may have increased a lot with RM depreciating.
So, weigh your pros and cons before changing.

If you opted to pay in RM although Pay Later, I assume the price is locked in at the RM that you have committed during booking.

Has anybody tried paying their unifi bills and get cash back? Does unifi falls under Telekom Malaysia?

Do a simple search at the bottom of the page on 'unifi', you'll get your answer.

To be frank - I don't know.

And for the 6% cash back feature for this card, it is awarded for online transaction, not for bill payment.  If you pay your bill online at respective service provider website (Celcom, Maxis, TM, TNB and etc), they are not counted as online transaction and earn 0% cash back.  But if you use 3rd party portal (such as UOBPayOnline - as mentioned in post # 1721), they are considered as online transaction, not bill payment, and you get 6% cash back from these bills.

Since paying bills through UOBPayonline is considered as online transaction, not bill payment, it should qualify for and counted towards the 3/5/8 swipes for cash back.  I think I read somewhere that people get cash back from bill payment through UOBpayonline in previous cash back campaign.

Regardless if they are counted - I already earn 6% cash back from these monthly bills payment.  If they qualify and counted as part of the 3/5/8 swipe cash back campaign, then it will be bonus to me. If not, nothing lost since there are no extra efforts from my part (except staying up late on Sunday night to pay these bills at the very beginning of the week to ensure I'm one of those early birds).

Guess will know in about 1 months time if I get the RM50 cash back.  Finger crossed!

Bill payment for Maxis through Maxis Pay portal IS ONLINE TRANSACTION and ELIGIBLE for 6%. smile.gif

Sometimes i wonder if they only see the MCC code or really see the type of transactions. If you see the statement, it does say what type of bill you pay even if it's by UOBpayonline. Either they choose to be ignorant or they really can't see.
*
technically, the cashback should be handled by the computer, of which the MCC code is the only consistent data that can be used to determined if cashback is eligible or otherwise. Description of the transaction is not reliable for such logic.

Hi, Could anyone enlighten the steps/ways to enjoy the complimentary access at the Premium Plaza Lounge at Airport? i.e. How to tell the waiters of the Premium Plaza lounge that you want to use the PBB Signature card for the free access?

Thank for replying.
*
Just hand them the credit card, they will inform you the free usage is 3 hours and print a slip for you to sign.
that's it.

QUOTE(MGM @ Dec 10 2015, 07:16 AM)
I am thinking of getting a Mastercard from PBB to complement my VS card and to use it for Mastercard discount on online purchases. . Which of their MC gives best CB? Currently using CIMB Plat MC for this purpose but CB limited to rm30 only.
*
to the best of my knowledge, apart from CIMB CR MC, there is no other MC that offers good online cash rebate.

Perhaps you should change the mindset not to stick with Mastercard only promotion. Online retails sites like Lazada or 11street, sometimes gives better discount using their coupon or different bank card than Mastercard alone.
