Yes, paid a few months.
It is slow during some time of the day. Try different time.

Anyone has tried paying AIA premium thru aia.com.my using PBB VS? AIA's web portal is excruciatingly slow. I have given up after trying for the last few months. They blame the problem to the integration with ING n GST. rclxub.gif

The AIA online payment does not allow to make partial payment. I am thinking of split up my Yearly Premium of rm4000 to 5x of rm800 and pay by PBB VS to maximise the CB to 5x rm48(6% of rm800).

Lump sum payment of rm4000 using Watami gives rm120 CB compare to PBB VS's rm50.

It is not worth to change the PolicyMode to quarterly as the quarterly payment will be rm1040 instead of rm1000, i.e. paying extra rm40 to get rm50CB.

Unless yearly premium is below rm1666, otherwise not worth it if one can pay with Watami.

That is because your quarterly is high.
What about converting to monthly?

ot: monthly will be even higher. only investment-linked policy has no difference whether you pay yearly, bi-yearly, quarterly, or monthly.

Yes, that's how it works for the credit limit.

Just wondering, 10k credit limit that you mentioned is just example right? It really doesn't make sense that you hold a VS but with such credit limit...

The supplementary credit card always share credit limit with principal credit card.

How to have separate credit limit for a supplementary credit card from principal credit card?

Only the principal credit card is apply the credit card with all the necessary document.

The cash rebate is shared for all supplementary credit card with principcal credit card and capped as RM50 every month.

you can put a cap on the CL for your supp card. eg your principal card got CL 100k and you dont want your son supp card to over spend, you can cap it at RM5k a month.

I am trying look for PBB terms and conditions for the 6% cash back for supp card.
But cannot find.

Anybody can help point out where to read that T&C? Thanks.

eh i thought you are the one that reported about the supp card issue:

QUOTE(guy3288 @ Jun 14 2015, 12:37 PM)
i applied 2 supp cards and put a separate CL capped for my kids. Problem is when they swipe they cannot contribute to my 6% CB. Reason is they have separate CL, so all their swipes are excluded from any CB.

For them to contribute to  6%CB they must share the whole CL with me, end up i cancel the supp cards, no meaning, if their swipes are not considered. Luckily HL Wise card not like that........

My point is if use PBB VS to pay AIA thru their webportal, a large part of the CB earned will be used to pay for the extra in the quarterly premium.

Say if annual premium is rm3200 when converted to quarterly payment is rm3200*0.26=rm832, instead of rm3200/4=rm800. CB earned using PBB VS=rm832*6%=rm50 minus the extra rm32, u effective get only rm18 or 2.3%, which is lower than if using Watami.

maybe you can give a scenario:
QUOTE
Principal A (credit limit of RM50000)
Supplementary B (separate limit of RM10000)

Principal A spent RM1000 on groceries
Supplementary B sepent RM1000 on groceries

Principal A gets RM50 cashback
Supplementary B gets RM50 cashback
Total cashback: A+ B = RM100

Is this correct?
