what should i do??

after few month i should know confirm or not, but 2 day my boss inform me that extend 1 month to review my performance whether stay or leave

My situation is
i as a freshgrate join in IT vendor line,my cust did not satisfy my performance because i delay my job

after that when i go back home, i also feel not if i am fresh, better i join in end user side (even in vendor can learn alot, but the problems is can handle or not)

So my current choise is
1) submit the resign letter
2) finish the review period let the boss decide (but it feels bad when after review period, the boss goreng u)

if u were me, what the decision u chooise??
any suggestion for me??
