Hi guys, I'm looking for a budget 2.1 speakers primarily use for general music and movie playing. I've been shopping for a while, understand that popular foreign brands such as Logitech and Edifier produces "more comfortable sound", while much cheaper brands such as local made Vinnfier may sounded a little "noisy".

However, for my limited budget (+/- RM200), those Logitech and Edifier models just sounded quite weak and lack of clarity. When moving price to above RM500, there are some very good sounding speakers from Edifier that I tried before. After introduction by the salesman, I come to this Vennfier brand. Okay, it sounds a little "noisy" as i said above, but at RM200+, the outcome can be satisfactory as i can now hear that okay power coming from it and i can clearly hear the bass and clarity on music.

After some research, i found very little information on this Vennfier brand, this shows that it's really not popular at all, and the company also not too keen to do marketing on their products. I still don't know which product lines are newer, and where are the major differences of its products line. For instance, its Champ 101 are new, and it's just so similar to its older Champ 202. Now both models are sell selling, I was wondering which one is better buy? Then, I found its Xenon line, which offers very similar features too, except they do not cover karaoke.

If anyone familiar with Vinnfier, please help me and explain a little on their lineup and which are the latest models. For my use of mostly music and movie playing, which model would you recommend to me. Currently, I'm looking at the Champ and Xenon series.

Or if you have any other brands to suggest, please do so.

Thank you so very much!

For RM200 budget, i will recommend you give Edifier XM6PF or XM6BT a try.

thanks for your info.
i heard that for those more care on musical feel, it's better to buy 2.0 (bookshelf) speakers than the 2.1 with sub woofer. Is this true? As for Edifier, some saying the Edifier R1700BT is pretty good except that its bass was too aggressive and could overshadow other sounds.

From my experience using 2.1 and comparing to 2.0 speakers, 2.1 tend to have muddier sounds. Vocals doesnt sound too good on the satellite speakers. I'm currently eyeing a 2.0 speakers as well

Thanks for sharing. If you found any potential 2.0 speakers, do share with us too. I'm very new to PC/wireless speakers. One with wireless feature would be great, comes with remote control would be a big plus.
