hi...

my klipsch promedia gmx a-2.1 satellite speakers has been faulty for sometimes now.... bought the whole set in 2006... still rocks till now... but only one satellite speaker.... the other one... need to adjust the cable until you can hear the sound.... sigh.....



here's what I am planning to do....

1) buy brand new satellite speakers whether the original gmx-2.1 satellite speakers..... OR buy any satellite speakers that support the same cable connectivity....
(i took the photo of promedia 2.1 subwoofer and not the gmx... since I cant find it... )

as you can see... the satellites are connected to the back of the subwoofer with no rca connector... just plain audio cables.... however the other end of the cable has rca connector to plug into the satellite speakers.....(I hope I made it as clear as possible )

2) repair the satellite speakers which I am totally clueless about....

so I think the first option is kinda faster but will be more expensive.... is there any satellite speakers that I can buy to replace the original satellite speakers from klipsch? went to audio shop.... the shop owner said multimedia speakers are not same with loudspeakers... cannot kawtim something like that... but I dont think so... what do you guys think?

Im looking for a best bang for the bucks..... below RM600 5.1 speaker....

currently I kinda interested in the edifier r501t iii.... since I couldn't buy the first generation r501 10 years ago... (bought klipsch promedia gmx a2.1)

is the r501t iii good for movies / gaming / music (i know 2.1 is better music speaker)
