Gifts like CNY hampers, laptop bags, Parker pens etc etc. High tea in hotels.  drool.gif
Lucky you ! SCB 4.5% was really attractive at that time, even now kind of sad that it was over.  cry.gif
nice! roughly how much deposit we need to hav in order to enjoy those previllage?
Well, some gifts are from like BR FD which now even RM25k they still give. Gotten umbrellas, parker pen, hand towel and nail kit previously.
Some gifts are cos of being a Priority Banking customer. eg. BR gave me a glass cup with cover when they launched PB.

True also for Ambank. I have to remember to login on the day of maturity to uplift it.
However, you can choose to rollover the interest or credit interest to account.

Hm, so far this month no new attractive promos. Luckily I could still put in RHB 4.21% last Friday.

Just to share with you my experience, I got the similar answer twice, once from RM, once from hotline with lots of excuses saying the system cannot be changed, they chose the wrong option, etc etc..
In Bolehland, we always must be aggressive, so I resorted to humiliating them in Facebook & then only I got my answer & resolution fast.

It does not matter which option you opt for in terms of FD renewal.

Lousy lah, no excuses for them this time especially after fixing the 15 mth 4.25% issue.  shakehead.gif

Then for this 15 mth 4.5%, my 1st one on 23/7 (placed on Jan 23) received interest, then 2nd one did not. Funny ! Or they are meddling with their system to delay the interest, something fishy ?  hmm.gif

Yours one coming up in early Sept, right ?  biggrin.gif

Try complaining on their Facebook page, then make sure other people like your posting tongue.gif
All of a sudden you will no longer hear system problem, lol!

My case for the first round of interest was never solved even after all of you got your interest as they closed it on the basis of system problem due to the issue that they chose the option (which is transparent to customer) payment of interest upon maturity after 15 mth. All I got was an apology until I wrote the formal complaint on Facebook.

Today pass by another branch of Br , I request higher rate of interest with 120k , the executive said no such thing...lol...does anyone can proof , he/she entitle higher rate of interest?

I have been reading about this 'rumour' for quite sometime tongue.gif

Is very easy to proof, just ask for the picture of the FD deposit slip which only need to show date, interest rate in % & duration.
If really true, then give us a name or FD account number to quote when asking for the 'special' rate.
