Hi everyone,

has abondoned this thread for a while because ran out of bullets to store.

Now resurface here because have some bullets at my disposal. Just checked the first page & looks like things are not much different than before. The best rate still hovers around 4.10% - 4.70%.

With the current state of affairs, most probably will be heading to MBSB soon.

For those who are keeping track of the FD rates, kindly fill me in if I missed out anything.

good to see you back. UOB and Ambank both offering 4.2% for 12 months, no CASA.

Thanks.

Picked up a lot of valuable infos from your posts in FD threads. Keep them coming rclxms.gif

At the moment, I'm learning towards MBSB's 4.5% or 4.7% since those are the highest rates on offer now. But still hem & haw around just in case I missed out other FD with higher rates biggrin.gif

Just in case you didn't know, Maybank offers Islamic eFD at 3.25% for 1 month. Minimum RM5k. Quite good considering that other banks board rates for 1 month eFD is <=3.15%
*
If I'm not mistaken, the 3.25% rate is for OTC placement, not eFD.

Do correct me if my memory fails me...

4.50% by MBSB

Did you make a FD placement with MBSB for the 4.50%?

QUOTE(wjchay @ Sep 29 2015, 11:26 AM)
I can't find 3.25% IFD via eFD.

Anyway, I setup a i-Yippie account, so can park (maybank2U transfer) up to 50k to get 3.25%, calculated daily i think.

Question: How many i-Yippies can i create with the same branch or other branches?
*
I thought Yippie account offers 3.17% effective rate, not 3.25% hmm.gif

eFD can. Tried last month, interest is 3.25% min rm5k.
Yes, they won't tell you the interest before putting. You can check Maybank's Islamic fd before putting. I got 3.25% last month. Always refer to their Islamic FD page before putting as they might change quietly.
*
How do you apply via eFD?

I logged in to Maybank2u site, clicked into the "Apply online" section & there are only 4 online accounts that I can choose from: Maybank2u Premier, 2 x M2U Savers & Unit Trust. None showing Islamic eFD at 3.25% for 1 month.

Where can I find the option to apply for it yea?

Log in. Don't click anyway. I think there's something call FD.  DO not apply for other FD. The only maybank FD giving 3.25% is Islamic FD. The rest will give 3.15%
*
OK, will give it a try tomorrow.

Let's see how it turns out.

Got it, thank you very much thumbup.gif

Would like to express my gratitude in a more explicit manner, but this is cyberworld...so hopefully a thank-you message is commensurable laugh.gif

Lately, a minimum deposit and/or investment of RM150k sudah kasi eligible for invitation (actually automatic upgrade) to CIMB Preferred membership.

CIMB has set out a lower qualifying criteria for Preferred member since last year...iinm la hmm.gif

150k for u to syiok 1 year only..

after that u need to top up..

No need.

As long as a Preferred member is able to fulfil the minimum RM150k investment AUM with CIMB on the 2nd anniversary year, the membership will not be revoke.

What is the best FD perk that you received as a preferred member?

This is the better deal than I got from Bank Rakyat @ 4.285%.  biggrin.gif

What is the FD tenure that earns you 4.285% from BR?
