I plan to have 1.5HP Inverter for my living room.
I have shortlisted to Panasonic, Sharp and Mitsubishi Electric.
Need advice and recommendation which to go for.
It would be a plus if it can help purify the air in the living room.

I would go for Panasonic for reliability. biggrin.gif

1. Sharp AHXP13WMD
2. Mitsubishi JS13VF
3. Panasonic CS-XPU13WKH (X-Deluxe)
4. Samsung Wind-Free Premium Plus F-AR1-3TYEAJWK

Still Panasonic fares better?

Between these choices,
the one that come close to the previous series Hitachi RAS-SX13CJ BTU/h : 12,640 (3,070-14,330) (2/10 wty) spec, will be the Pana

CS-XPU13WKH 12,500 (3,480-14,000) (1/5 wty)

AHXP13WMD 12,000 (3070 - 13000) (1/5 wty)

JS13VF 12,283 (3,071-12,624) (2/7 wty)- taken from https://www.mitsubishielectricmalaysia.com/...ochure-bpzw.pdf
Coz while the Pana and Sharp still got turbo cooling capacity - the JS rated nominal BTU seem to be close to max redline (for turbo) already.
But seems like the 1/5 yr warranty kinda questionable. laugh.gif Mitsu provide 2/7 warranty so it should be safer long term.

Sharp Plasmacluster and Panasonic Nanoe are just marketing gimmick?
Do they really help purify similar like what air purifier does?

They do help, more or less same functionality (fine filtering at aircon level), diff marketing naming.

However if you're sensitive to dust still better to use one of the standalone HEPA-rated air purifier machine for ultra-fine filtering.

Thought if can buy 2-in-1 Air Cond + Air Purifier together, I can skip spending another money to get an air purifier brows.gif
Mitsubishi has 2/7 warranty which is good, but hope it has air purifying and deodorizing function like Sharp and Panasonic.

Panasonic inverter X Premium and X Deluxe, which is more worth to get? Is it worth to spend the extra on X Premium?

From the brochure, "Inside Cleaning" is only applicable for X Deluxe, is it a good feature?
