May I know where did you get this quote? Buying 1x 1.5hp and 1x 2hp. I think the price you got is quite competitive.
*
I get the same price quote in Ipoh without installation

I was quoted 230 for pana premium inverter 2.0hp and 260 for pana premium inverter 2.5hp. Maybe u can try to nego with the installer or get other installer to quote for comparison.

U should bring it up with the seller and try to request for replacement. Chances are slim but worth a try.

I'm just survey around maybe u can try the diy method too by using some spray cleaner can save money...if using everyday maybe once a month u can do it with the spray if worst than can call the service man...

I think based on your comparison, you are only down to Daikin, as Panasonic has no R32 non-inverter units.
*
If the compressor is big i mean like 2.0hp and u install near to room sure u will hear little sound but it's really not that much depends on your setting too..I'm using r32 inverter 1.5hp and 2.0hp on single story hs and I install compressor on front of the hs...1.5hp no sound at all if compare to 2.0 because of the size of the fan for sure...

Hi, After reading a few hundreds of pages, still not clear which brand is the best, perhaps each brand has its pros and cons.

Comparing Daikin and Panasonic IHP non-inventor R32, which one is better in term of quietness (both indoor and compressor unit -it is the first priority in consideration to purchase ) and speedy in coolness?

Thank you.
*
Both are almost same if compare to the sound very minor differences..I think the placement for compressor is playing the role and bigger hp will have little sound for sure..r32 definitely cools faster and correct btu for your room size is very important for speedy cooling..at first I don't trust recently after I purchased the air cond I can feel it the differences and I agreed to our senior members advised here...don't forget to calculate...

Hisense have very bad design.

1. Remote control got thermostat. Drain battery like hell
2. Blower weak
3. Leaks easily due to very small drainage hole for upper coil.
*
Nice info bro so the remote control playing the cut off role..

The R32 is single component of gas while R410A is mixture of gas.. thats why R32 will be cheaper...
Currently my room using Daikin R32 aircon, i can feel it is cooler compare to my old R410A aircon...
*
I can feel too bro r32 more cooler

Anyone here use a frost wash aircon? Or a hitachi inverter aircon?

Hitachi function looks cool not bad should give a try if the price is reasonable
