I'm looking to buy a new aircon and i thought daikin is good brand. But some how went to a few shops they kept commenting that Daikin aircon is very noisy. Asked them what noise is that, they said the inside unit wind blowing sound and compressor also very noisy.
Is that true Daikin AC very noisy?
By the way, a few shops kept pushing for Electrolux. I hardly heard of Electrolux famous for aircon. Any opinion about their AC?

QUOTE(halcyon27 @ Jul 7 2017, 05:34 PM) Pushing a brand sometimes motivated by commission or favor. Not wrong. Ask friends, relatives, neighbours (good way to know them and strike conversation), colleagues opinion and ask for model they use. Sometimes noise level are published as part of technical spec. no problem with that. I'm more curious if daikin was really that bad? As in really that loud and that many strange noise as they'd mentioned from user experience?

Thx for all feedback. Just want to make sure it is 'money' in play here that those electrical shops trying to damage daikin brand. Went to 3 shops all said the same thing despite not trying to push for the same brand.

QUOTE(wuoi @ Jul 11 2017, 01:40 PM) this is the first time i heard Daikin aircond is noisy... i got two FTKC 35 and 50 inverter series R22 made in thailand model, my comment is Daikin indoor unit very silent even at full blast still not as loud as my old panasonic model. All 3 different electrical shops tried to convinced me it's noisy and try to ask me to switch regardless which any other brand seems to be better than Daikin. I guess is the commission.
