Hi guys, I'm considering to install either Panasonic or Daikin non-inverter airconds. Any feedback on these 2 brands? I heard people said Panasonic's board easily got problem after using 1-2 years.

QUOTE(shelby_yong @ Mar 29 2016, 09:12 AM) i purchase all my 4 aircond online, price is a lot cheaper... Buying online can save more. If your aircond is installed back-to-back then easy to troubleshoot. But, if your pipes are concealed, the risk is when u call aircond HQ guy, he will say is your piping problem, then your installer say is your aircond problem.only regret part is mitsu 2hp. cause i wrongly mistaken on the BTU, i get a smaller unit of 2hp. but ok la. since my living room is small 1 panasonic, 1 york, 1 electrolux and 1 mitsu. mitsu is 2hp rest is 1 hp.... so far only york noisy, manage to contact HQ, and they send in technician immediate, which im impress.. issue solve also.. actually if got any problem, just contact the aircond HQ |

QUOTE(HiT-AbLe @ Mar 31 2016, 03:01 PM) What's the different between non-inverter gas and inverter gas on non-inverter air con? I don't know much abt air con but I need to buy one 2.5hp air con for my office, any recommendation? People normally call R22 gas as non-inverter gas & R410a gas as inverter gas.In fact, R22 is older generation gas that contribute to ozone layer depletion. R410a does not contribute to ozone layer depletion. Now, more airconds are using R410a including non-inverter aircond too. On diff, R410a gas needs thicker copper pipe than R22. Servicing also more expensive for now. But, long term wise, better to use thick copper pipe that can be used for both R410a & R22. Air-cond wise, Panasonic & Daikin not bad. Other brands I'm not sure. |

QUOTE(Freakystein @ Mar 31 2016, 12:38 PM) Hi Guys, gotten a quote to do conceal inverter piping, is it reasonable? Mine same RM350 (0.61mm) inc. GST for conceal works but not include aircond installation charge. Is urs include that?RM 350 using (0.61mm copper pipe) Extra piping 20ft below is RM 17. Extra piping 20ft above is RM 15. QUOTE(TXSim @ Apr 12 2016, 07:31 PM) New model for 2016 is CS-V24SKH. Anyway, the distributor said it's the same as previous model. I guess the code might be the production year code. Whether there is diff vs older model, I guess only ppl in Panasonic know. Q - 2014 R - 2015 S - 2016 |
