my new condo come with the standard piping for all room..
the room utilised most is living room and masterbed room.

having some dilemma here

-if using existing copper pipe, can i install a 1HP inverter for my masterbed room? high chance of gas leakage?

-my living room is open area with open kitchen concept. Require 2HP, inverter or non inverter? which one is more suitable ?

-will non-inverter phase out anytime soon? I know inverter is the new trend.. should i invest to change all my existing pipe? haha i worry if my AC break down in the future, and there is only inverter AC in market.. then i kena redo+conceal the new copper

hi guys, anyone have experience claiming warranty for compressor? i had a 4 years old daikin 2.0 inverter, after checked by daikin techniciam they allow me to claim warranty for compressor, however i will need to hired contractor to claim the compressor, install by my own contractor amd return the defected unit to them, is ot normal practice?

shouldnt they should provide the installation since if defect is in compressor they should handle it?

Hi, all sifu.. looking for recommendation for AC, currently using daikin inverter with R410a for my condo. all around 6 years old.

my aircond had previously ? leaking gas problem since 2 years .. require frequent top up past 2 years, check by multiple technician, they say the gas pipe no problem, today the other technician mention the indoor foil is not good (spoilt? - may lead to leak), with some mold.

any recommendation of model? most importantly energy saving as the usage of AC in my home is very heavy.. as usage is 24/7.. looking for something reliable.. prefer standard / slightly higher tier.. but not the most premium range. any brand should do.

looking for 1HP and 2HP ac.. i may need to change phase by phase

usually the technician will charge for dismantle the existing unit too and installation ?

hi guys, i m surveying 2.0 HP to replace my spoilted 5 year old daikin (sempat to claim warranty for compressor but it then only last for 6 month)

my initial preference is panasonic deluxe s series, however, found midea all easy pro (https://www.midea.com/my/air-conditioners/residential-air-conditioners/wall-mounted-inverter/2-0hp-all-easy-pro-inverter-series-msep-19crfn8) quite attractive interm of price/ mechanisme/ ? power usage but wonder if it's accurate as being advertised

pana deluxe s 2.0 vs midea all easy pro 2.0hp
19000 btu vs 18000 btu
1460w vs 1320w
1/5 warranty vs 2/5 warranty
price wise pana definitely more expensive.. by few hundreds

is it the lower W, more cost saving ? or need to see how much coverage area too?

any review on this midea pro easy? as only found few seller in lazada/shoppee only
