Have a 2.5HP Daikin Q Series FTK25QV1L inverter type made in 2017. Used only once in a blue moon.

Recently, stopped working with a U4 error code on the remote control.

U4 is a communication error, meaning internal unit is not talking to external one.

Fault is probably the PCB of either or both units.

Does anyone know of an independent air-cond service guy preferably around Rawang who know his way around electronics? And charges a reasonable price, of course.

Called one guy over; he has been giving me the runaround about sourcing the circuit boards...so looking for other more competent source. If I go back to Daikin, they will likely charge me more, unless i'm wrong about this assumption.

Is the PCB in both units easy to replace ...like just unscrewed a few wires, and remove the card from a slot?

Do most installers know how to fix such a specialised problem besides cleaning air cond, flushing fluids, top up gas and piping works?

Bought the air-cond in 2017 for nearly RM3K....If the card (s) are going to cost me more than RM1K, I might consider getting a new air-cond.
