My new house will be an open concept ie living room, dining n kitchen having no compartments. Thinking of putting a sliding door to at least close the kitchen off. Planning to get a cassette type AC for the common living/dining area. Any good recommendations?

You can install the plaster bone first. Let the air con man finish run the piping and drain pipe then only ask the plaster guy to cover the whole ceiling. Get the air con man and plaster man to meeting. Both of them must discuss first. Once done run the pipes, ask the plaster guy to cut approx 34 x 34 inches for the air con. And a 12 x 12 main hole for servicing. Then air con only install.

Thanks! This is exactly what I need.
