Got Css13skh inverter and Csv12rkh no inverter deluxe. No cold like my old york.

Also I think Panasonic reduce the max fan speed for their cool mode.
The i auto or X it is equal to other brand maximum speed. My old York max is got better airflow than my new Panasonic. Also feeling colder faster.

My wife like these inverter ones because of they look feature packed and beautiful.

Hitachi Vx 13 1.5hp have 2 scene cameras for detect, stainless steel wasabi filter and promoting sleep feature.
Panasonic Cs vs13skh 1.5hp have sliding cover on the remote, nanoG and slider front with led lights.

But we settle for Panasonic Cs s13skh inverter 1.5hp.

More than one month I feel regret.

I called Panasonic @79537600.
Twice they checked the current and temperatures at spaced out times.
They informed me the weather is too hot and maybe the old non inverter York have higher moisture removal or btu.

The only way to enjoy my Panasonic is to sit in front of the vent pointing at me at iX speed.
Before my old York could make the whole room really cold!!!
My electricity bill show no savings by my Panasonic.

Now I am thinking of replacing with a new one. Should I go for Daikin? The only problem is my wife think it is so ordinary looking.

I was offered rm290 for my panasonic css13 SKH invert model from one shop in puchong opp giant.
other shops offered around rm200 for trade in and some do not want it at all.
I paid rm1868 and it is less few moths old and still under warranty.

Now hot season.. air con selling like hot cakes.
Current York is not the old York, its by Johnson Controls & made in China.

Personally, if you wanna buy inverter, I'd go for either Panasonic or Daikin. In fact I'll be getting a Daikin 1.5hp inverter within 2 months for my own use, replacing my non-inverter Panasonic 1.5hp (which is very cold by the way), moving it to living room where I use less.

I have 1 Panasonic non-inverter, 1 Panasonic inverter, 1 National non-inverter, 1 old York Cooling King non-inverter. Frankly speaking, the Panasonic non-inverters are cold, but the York non-inverter cools faster than the Panasonic.

The Panasonic inverter is disappointing for me. So after I get the Daikin inverter can do a better comparison.

Any update?

I am interested in getting room cold only.

I am renovating another room which is 26 foot x 30 foot.
Putting the aircon lower from ceiling have any bad effect?
Inverter or not because all the new ones comes with R410?

Can recommend any proven aircon to make it cold?

How cold you want?
780 sqft, this room is huge. You have to give more info, so I can give more accurate suggestion.
Slightly lower have no bad effect. How high is the ceiling? How low you wan't to install the AC?
Yes, current trend is R410a. It will takes long time for R32 to take over.
If just want cold without other special function, I always recommend Daikin and Panasonic local made cheaper spare parts. Acson actually is same as Daikin, just the name plate is different.

The new room is 30 foot x 26 foot x 14 foot high.
Has ceiling led room lights.
Fully carpeted.

My panasonic experience:
I had some good (2 inverter models still working ok) and bad experience (3 r410 non inverter units got pcb failure after one+ year)

I am going to trade in my panasonic css13 SKH new model because it cannot cool the whole room enough. The shop agreed to me getting a new unit.

So which others are suitable?

I bought 2 (1.5 HP) inverter airconds last year. When I called Panasonic I was advised to set it at 27 degrees and eco and use for 6 or 8 hours to see the savings. I saw some savings for 2 months but everyone complained the aircond was not cold enough! After the complaints, it is set to 21 degrees and my bills was more or less the same like our old airconds without inverter.
