Warranty is useless.
They're all 1 year.
Only the compressor is 5 years or more. But the thing hardly breaks.
First to go is the electronics.

I am currently renovation my house and I have 3 airconds to be fixed i.e 2HP and 2 units of 1HP.

The aircond man charged me RM400 for 2HP for just the piping and concealed and RM380 for 1HP.

When the renovation is done and when I buy the aircond, I need to pay again for fixing the aircond.

Am I being conned?

i thought the price he quoted inclusive of installation but installation will be available only after renovation is done.

Yes, he needs to hack wall and do the piping inside the wall and close it.

Just to update Daikin tech visited today and concluded for U2 error, the outdoor PCB needs to be replaced RM469 + RM200 labour.

However they're not able to replace the PCB due to my outdoor unit is very close to the left wall and they are not able to slot their screwdriver in to open the screw.

They tried to replace the PCB by opening just the right side screw but fail.

Disappointed to say tonight I retested and the AC has gone worst. Previously it is still able to pump cold air at night but now totally not. And the error code has changed to L5 now.

I think all air cond quality have gone down.

In the past 2 or 3 years, 2 of my Daikin have problem. I heard Panasonic nowadays are no better.

Which model is the best? I only see Mr. Slim, and its 3 star rating for their 1HP inverter. Im planning to buy 1 HP inverter and 1.5HP Non-Inverter. Currently is between Daikin FTKU series vs Panasonic Deluxe series, can share which Mitsubishi model that is the best or at least can compete with Pana and Daikin?

Oh ya my bad its actually 5 star for the inverter, ya RN heavily considering mitsubishi, its cheaper and their warranty alone make it worth it, u say the built quality is better than daikin and pana right?

I'm targetting JP Series as well..how has the performance been so far? I'm thinking of gettin the JP 15 which is suppose to be 1.75 hp..not sure if tje performance can cover for 2hp... Is it good? Seems like most sellers online sell this at higher price compared to Daikin/Pana ....Where would be the best place to get it ya? Not many Mitsu Dealer

Got local seller but expensive. So better import PRC stuff if not critical urgent.
Note that this is split loom usually used for cars so its usually just black (C shape cross section like slip on cover) so you just need to "clip on" the cables, NO NEED to disconnect the cables, as external protector from sun. When u install position them with the slot down facing so water can drip out.

There is cheaper flexible conduit that come in white and black (O shape cross section like pipe) which u either split one line to become C meaning u have to cut the line,
OR disconnect cables at ODU to stuff them in the pipe.

after i wash the filter, less bad smell but its still there.. any advise?

Contacted 2 service technicians.
The system is good. However electronics part may fail in the future which requires rectification.
