I wouldn't use it. If i win free also I won't install it, probably sell it off. My air con man tells me Daikin & Panasonic safe choices, because plenty of spare parts, and proven over the years in Malaysia.

BTW anybody here used BOTH inverter & non-inverter, and what are your thoughts about inverters?

I've used both a Daikin inverter (the old Daikin, before the current York-Daikin) and the c9pkh top-of-the-line Panasonic 1hp inverter. I PERSONALLY feel inverters are rubbish and a waste of money, cause they are never as cold as the basic cheap air cons --- don't tell me what inverter start up unlike conventional air con la, this is how it works la..i don't care, my whole point of using air con is to be COLD.

The cheapest Daikin non-inverter (York cooling king) 1hp.. cold giler. And my 8~9 years old normal Panasonic 1.5HP also damn cold..
