If single phase power supply, is it good enough to run 3 air conditioning at the same time?

Wow, good to hear that. I forgot to get them to install 3 phase supply. Now the house already completed, and I feel it could be a hassle to install it. So plan to have single phase only.

BTW, for normal 1.0hp inverter air con (daikin and pana), the installation requirement is quite similar and simple right? Meaning I can purchase from online and get normal contractor to install it.

Hi want to ask how professional Aircon man check for leaks. My 1hp Aircon using new gas was installed using the 20 ur old concealed piping. Old York Aircon was also 1hp but using the old gas.

The new Aircon ran well for a year or so but suddenly not cold. One Aircon man came & check  indoor n outdoor unit joints with soapy water. Then top up gas n  say observe. Within few days, gas gone. Guy says concealed piping leaking must reinstall with new piping

Asked another Aircon man to have a look n he say do 3days pressure test on concealed piping. Also need to take indoor n outdoor units back to shop to check for leaks by "submerging in water"

Does that sound right? The piping pressur test sounds logical. But dunno about  checking for leaks by "submerging in water".  Also how much would this cost?

My landlord in apartment refused to install aircon in the living room which gets very hot due to facing setting sun. But has no objections if I'm to install it. Yeah he thinks I'll just leave It when I leave.

To not give him the pleasure, what 1.5HP aircon is easy to install and uninstall later on? I'm thinking of puttingbthe compressor on the balcony since its not used anyway..

recently install a new Gree aircond into my small room. The blower is very strong but the air is not cooling at all..could it be i get a faulty unit?
almost 2 hours and i can't feel any coldness in my room

the wind out from the blower are just chilling but not cold enough to cold down the small room

Hi all, my living room aircond (York 1.5hp / 7 years old) has been giving issues quite frequently lately. Planning to change to another model, any model to recommend? Leaning towards Panasonic for now.

Questions :

1.) Worth to go for inverter or non-inverter?

Usage for weekdays : 5 hours per day.
Usage for weekends : Sometime up to 8 hours per day.

2.) The living room has a high ceiling so is it better to go with a 2hp unit? Using online calculators shows roughly a 1.75hp estimate.

I need all the aircond pipe to be install and conceal inside wall/plaster ceiling while the construction is running instead of hack and patch later.
